I think you guys have done a great job. I enjoy all the features that cardo has , I have one feature that I think that is missing from the application for Bluetooth mode. When you are pairing for a new device from your phone you have two options: pair or reset. I think that it would make a lot of difference if you have a third option “Select from List” Because every guy that I'm pairing with I am changing the name and I know how I am paired to, but every time I have to pair him again. So if you have the third option you're just selecting the guys that you want to pair to for the list and of you go Without any procedures. My cardo is the 4X and now i want to move to the NEO
Based on this video.... with a Cardo Packtalk Neo talking in Mesh with say 5x riders, can I add a Sena bluetooth SMH5, hit the button three times, and boom, they are in the mesh (as long as they are in bluetooth range with me) ??
Great explanation! I have 2 friends with Sena 50S and I have Packtalk Bold (and a spare) ... with Bold I could only have BT pairing talk time open for 10 seconds. And could not work out how to get the 3 devices all talking at the same time. It this solved with Edge? Or do you need to have 2 Cardos (Edge BT connected to 2 Senas) and have the 2 Cardo's DMC connected then bridge the 2 BT connected Sena's into the 3 conversation ? I am considering buying the Edge but need to confirmed ... thanks
Pairing with the buttons does not work as it should. When I try to pair 4 units in a group 9 times out of 10 one or more will be stuck searching for group and then fail to join. The funny thing is you can see that they had the same problem in the video. One of the units did not turn purple and was still blinking. Then there was an obvious edit and they went on to the next topic. I really expected this to be much easier. There are 12 in our group. If pairing four is this hard I fear how much trouble 12 is going to be, especially since 4 are older versions.
I am thinking about getting one of these units. And was going to give my old Sena unit to my son. He doesn't have to have a cell phone to make that connection right?
what if your two units will not pair with the app or with button presses? is there a work around when pairing fails over and over or is there a defective unit possibly ? musci will work in both units but they will not find each other. (two pack)
can you bridge 2 cardos in via bluetooth? Like If two people are in a DMC, can you bridge a Freecom into the DMC with channel A and another freecom with channel b?
ı have 2 cardo freecom 4+ and ı want to replace 1 of them with the packtalk edge and ı want to setup ı want to know can ı connect my packtalk edge with my phone and other freecom 4+ and ı want to use recording voice feature same time is it possible ? or voice recorder + listening music same time with no problem is these possible ?
If I have a Packtalk, but my passenger has a freecom, can I communicate with my passenger via bt and stay connected with other riders in the group via mesh?
How do I connect the Edge to BMW System 7 Comms using the Bluetooth intercom? It says "Rider A ready" then shortly after it disconnects saying "Rider A out of range"
we tried for an hour to connect two riders with Cardo units and a third with a Sena. the instructions in here don't work. both companies have a lot of work to do to make a better product that is simpler to use.
Hello friends, I have the pactalk bold model. My problem is that I can create groups in DMC mode. I can join groups, but I cannot start and end calls in groups. I reset the factory settings. I reinstalled the software but I couldn't solve it. Does anyone know the solution?
