Santhosh George Kulangara is an Indian traveller, television producer, director, broadcaster, editor, and publisher. Santhosh George Kulangara is the founder and managing director of Safari TV, a channel dedicated to travel and history-based programmes. Kulangara also serves as the head of Labour India Publications, an educational publisher for school children. As of 2021, Kulangara had travelled to more than 130 countries and his journeys are telecast through Sancharam, the first travel documentary in Malayalam. Santhosh was born at Marangattupilly in Kottayam district of Kerala, India on 25 December 1971. After doing his post-graduation in journalism and mass communication from Madurai Kamaraj University. Santhosh started a career in journalism in 1992 by making telefilms and documentaries for various television channels. At age 26, Santhosh George Kulangara assumed the leadership of Labour India Publications, a publishing house which provides journals and magazines for students. His telefilms and documentaries include Samayam, Acharya, Maluvinte Lokam and Krishnagatha. In 1997, Santhosh George Kulangara decided to start a travelogue by travelling to different countries and the first episode of Sancharam was in 2001.

ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്തായി കുട്ടികൾ വീട്ടിൽ വച്ച് ചെറുപ്രായത്തിൽ പീഡനങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് ..മാതാപിതാക്കൾ വളരെ കർക്കശമായ നിലപാടിലുറച്ച് കുട്ടികളെ വളർത്തുന്നത് ഭാവിയിൽ കൂടുതൽ പ്രയാസങ്ങൾക്ക് വഴിവെക്കും.. സ്നേഹം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിടത്ത് അതും കുറച്ചൊക്കെ കാർക്കശ്യവും ചേരുമ്പോഴാണ് സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന മക്കളായി അവർ വളരൂ.

പറഞ്ഞത് കറക്റ്റ് ആണ്.. 10 പൈസ കൈയിൽ വന്നാൽ, നല്ല ഒരു ജോലിയിൽ വിദേശത്തു സെറ്റിൽ ആയാൽ പിന്നെ നമ്മുടെ പഴയ സ്കൂളും , പഴയ വീടും, ചായക്കടയും ഒക്കെ നൊസ്റ്റാൾജിയ ആണ്... എന്നാൽ അവിടെ തന്നെ ഇപ്പോളും തുടരുന്നവർക്ക് അത് ദുരിതവുമാണ്..

സത്യം ആണ്. പണ്ട് ഒരു ബന്ധുവിനെ airport ൽ വിടാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ എന്നെങ്കിലും വിമാനത്തിൽ കയറാൻ പറ്റുമോ എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ ഇന്ന് 10 ൽ അധികം European countries ൽ ഞാൻ യാത്ര ചെയ്തുകഴിഞ്ഞു…..

"തിങ്ക് ളാഴ്ച നല്ല ദിവസം " എന്ന സിനിമ 80 കളുടെ തുടക്കത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അന്നത്തെ തലമുറ (esp so called ബുദ്ധിജീവികൾ ) അതിനെ വിമർശിച്ചു .... പുച്ഛിച്ചു .... കേരളത്തിൽ ഇതൊന്നും ഒരു കാലത്തും നടക്കില്ലന്ന് തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു...ഇന്ന് അത് യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമായി മാറി.... അന്നത്തെ സംസ്കാരത്തിൽ അത് മറ്റൊരു angle ൽ treat ചെയ്തു എന്ന് മാത്രം.... 40 വർഷം കാലത്തിന് മുമ്പേ സഞ്ചരിച്ച പത്മരാജൻ സാറിന് Kudos ....❤❤❤❤

Most people make negative comments have never been in a rest home/ visited one. In western countries parents look after children till 16 years old- it is not spoon feed care, they very well look after, no servant at home, no van services or drivers take them to school, if needed we will get leave from work also. They make their kids independent to live after 16yrs. It is expected to start work/ work +study; courses are designed like that. Once the parents get old it is not expected to give everything they earned in their life to give to children. They spend their money on enjoying their life in their on way, when they can’t live independently self they moved to care home. I have worked in a care home as a registered nurse, from my experience I personally prefer care home to spend my old age. I get a nurse to hear my concerns, health care assistants to give shower, dressing, feeding for people not able to. A doctor will visit every week. They get food according to their preferences. They get special attention/ treatment. For independent people, they get all the entertainments. Morning tea, breakfast, 11 am snacks, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner & supper. Which elderly parents in India getting this kind of care at home. Indian parents spend all their money in spoon feeding their kids until they finish education or marriage. When they get old, depends on their children who is working to meet ends( to look after kids and parents) not getting their family time which Creates problems in family life. Usually parents live with son’s family, when they bedridden usually daughter in law needs to look after which is not acceptable for everyone. Then again problems. Better than suffering at own home with children & their family, I prefer to make my kids independent with their life-they have to enjoy their lives too at their good age, I prefer to live independently as per my wish and move to a care home once not able to.

വൃദ്ധ സദനത്തിൽ പോണം ആ മാർഗ്ഗം നല്ലതാണ് അതിനു ള്ള പണം കൂടി മക്കൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി ചിലവാക്കി ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്ത അവസ്ഥ വരുന്നവർ ഉണ്ട്... അതിനേക്കാൾ നല്ലത് കുട്ടികൾ വേണ്ട എന്ന് ഇനിയുള്ളവർ തീരുമാനം എടുത്താൽ ... എന്ത് ചെയ്യും

നല്ല രീതിക്ക് നോക്കിവളർത്തിയ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ ആണെങ്കിൽ അവരെ നോക്കാൻ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം ഉണ്ട്...താങ്കൾ പറന്നത് ശെരിയാണ് മക്കൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി സ്വറുക്കൂട്ടുന്നതിന് പകരം തന്റെ അവസാന കാലത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഉപയോഗിക്കാം..

ഒരുപാട് രാജ്യങ്ങൾ കറങ്ങി നടന്നു എന്നത് കൊണ്ട് മാത്രം ഒരാൾ വിവരമുളളവനാകുന്നില്ല എന്നതിന് ഏറ്റവും നല്ല ഉദാഹരണം ആണ് ഇദ്ധഹം. ഇവിടെ എല്ലാവരും പഴഞ്ചൻ ചിന്താഗതിയാണ് ലോകവിവരമില്ല ഞാനിതൊക്കെ നേരിൽ കണ്ട് മനസ്സിലാക്കിവന്നവനാണ് എല്ലാത്തിനെ കുറിച്ചും നല്ല ധാരണയുളളവനാണ് എന്ന രീതിയിലുളള സംസാര ശൈലിയിൽ നിന്ന് തന്നെ അറിവുളളവർക്ക് കാര്യങ്ങൾ ബോദ്യമാകും. അദ്ധേഹം ഒരുപാട് രാജ്യങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു ശരിയാണ് അതിനെ താരതമ്യം ചെയ്ത് കൊണ്ട് അദ്ധേഹം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.. അത്രതന്നെ. അത് കൊണ്ട് അയാൾ പറയുന്നത് എല്ലാം ശരിയാണ് എന്ന് അതിനർഥമില്ല

Even average life expectancy of Travancore royal family were so low... But now a days people especially malayalees don't seem to bother taking any effort such as doing regular appropriate excercises even 15 minute long daily, to prevent avoidable diseases... Everyone seem to ride a scooter, drive a car or call a rikshaw... Nobody bothering to remove dust and clean your own bed or the entire house... They just are so reliant on oral meds or simply praying to God/s (these don't usually require a lot of physical effort!!)... Even then, life expectancy has increased significantly compared to the past, could even be better...
