Careful where you stop for lunch! 

Our son lives in Central Point, OR and they love to go to Coos Bay. I told him I would like to drive the coast one summer in our RV and they can book a cabin or hotel as we go. His wife doesn't like RVing. LOL The kids could take turns staying with us or them. They are getting older, 13 y/o girl & 11 y/o boy. We only have a sofa sleeper, so we just sleep 4. We better hurry before they are off to college or married before we get to do a coastal trip with them. LOL HUGS~Donna

I'm driving to Washington for the first time pulling a trailer in June of 2021. I'll probably stay at many of the campgrounds you've shared as I won't feel as scared. Thank you so much for sharing all the information that you do. I think one of my favorite scenes from another video was Michael twirling all of you as you came out of the Airstream....so charming to see.

Watching 👀 you hook up, the rear drops, a good three inches. You need to put overload springs or air suspension to get the rear level.

Merry Christmas Three Little Trees Family! Our “bubble family” just left after sharing a few days together. We’ve been to Oregon several times and recently went for a long weekend in late October and stayed in Coos Bay at Bay Point Landing ( highly recommend checking this fabulous resort next time you’re in Coos Bay). The campground is one of the best private campgrounds we’ve ever visited. They have about 14 30’ Airstreams and three different size modern minimalist cabins to rent or take your own Airstream. There’s so much to do nearby although during the COVID pandemic several good options for museums, etc we still took hikes, visited coastal sights, cranberry themed shops offering lots of local made cranberry products- jams, syrups, mustard & sweets all made with local sourced cranberries. And local grocers sell fresh cranberries by the pound. Bout several lbs. to freeze but have some in frig from October & still fresh at Christmas. Oregon cranberries are must sweeter than what we were used to having from north east. Anyway, hope your holidays were fun and memorable. Stay well. Stay safe and maybe we’ll all soon look forward to new lifestyle post-pandemic if everyone follows thru with the vaccines. We are really enjoying our first winter in Minden Nevada since our cross country move here early summer. Sierra are snow covered while we enjoy light powdery snowfalls and enjoy all the warm sun filled days until we hit the road again in our little Airstream. Happy 2021!

High inflation pressures may not be necessary, and might just cause uneven treadwear on your tires (and bounce more stuff around in your trailer). Tire manufacturers publish load/pressure tables allowing you to use the optimum pressure for your trailer weight. For Goodyear tires it's at www.goodyearrvtires.com/pdfs/rv_inflation.pdf

Welcome to the Oregon Coast! I love it here. There is a first person tribe here called Coos, that's where the name comes from. There's also Coquille (kokeel) tribe here too. The county seat is in the little town of Coquille that is inland from 101 by about 10 miles. Coos Bay used to be called Marshfield. The high school is called that. There are tons of awesome spots all along the wild and rugged coastline. Happy travels!

We camped in a tent at that campground in the rain on our honeymoon! We left early because it was going to rain for the following week. Thank you for sharing. That plant was a hydrangea! One of my favorites. We visited that botanical gardens too! Lovely to see that area of Oregon without rain.

Is there a video that explains why you travel in separate vehicles? If not, can you explain here?

Here in NH we have a Coos County, but it's pronounced different than you did. The first 2 letters (Co) are pronounced like you would in "copilot". The second 2 (os) would sound like in "ostrich". So, it's two syllables. Co-os, like you might say co-op. I'm wondering if maybe Coos Bay is pronounced that way as well?
