I hope you enjoy this new attachment unit, it was a lot of fun (and work!) putting it together. You can still see the old (hidden) version here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yctTmnUhalk.html and here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M0OHEccS6s4.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M0OHEccS6s4.html (Yes this is three old videos in one!), if you use the old videos for your class resources. BTW regarding the app, I'm uploading the MCQ this week so about 1K are up now, shouldn't take too much longer to get the remaining 500 ish up.

HI great vid btw but im a bit confused on how the baby in moor and meltozoff shows the exact same reflection as the adult why would it not be synchrony as its copying the exact facial expression ? cause i thought reciprocity is just the baby reflect or like responding by not exactly mirroring if that makes sense why im kinda confused. thanks

reciprocity is kind of like "reacting" to one anothers facial cues, while synchrony is more mirroring

International synchrony is simultaneous whereas reciprocity is typically copying behaviour back and forth :)

hi! when it comes to these key studies, is the information u provide all the information we need? or would i need to go more into detail. i rlly struggle with knowing how much detail i actually need to know for each study. it's my biggest downfall bcos i end up learning way too much unnecessary info. thank u!!!

I watched his videos on schizophrenia and then read the book, he pretty much covers everything, but if you're in year 1 i suggest you get the book, because it still has some extra details that you can find useful. Book I'm referring to is AQA- A level psychology, both years by Jean-Marc Lawton and Eleanor Willard. (you can find the book to have a bit too much information (in terms of how many unnamed studies there are) but it definitely covers everything you need and nothing that you won't be able to incorporate in essays)

Heya, while I think I have found a good balance in these videos, it's always a judgment call, and with all things online, unfortunately, you have to decide what info to trust yourself. But if it makes you feel any better, I've been teaching A-level psychology for nine years now, and I'm fairly active in the teaching community, so I get to speak to a lot of other teachers I really respect at conferences. In all honestly, compared to what I do in my own classroom, I do actually go into slightly more depth in these videos. In my department, many students leave with the top grades so do with that info what you will and good luck!
