I played hockey for almost 25 years at all positions but, goaltending was the cream of the crop. After all those trophies and medals, I've learned that a goalie is the cheerleader of the team. Each saves gives the team a boost to outperform themselves. A good goalie will analyze and decipher the play. A great goalie will react base on instinct. Its a rare breed to be able to get into that trance. To be in and out of that "zone" takes a lot of mental control. Carey has it, I can see and feel it.

Yah, look at his house. I live in Kelowna and i have seen price in new expensive trucks every year. He loves trucks, Raptors(over 100G), Harley Davidsons f-150s, many of them. If you say you like how he doesnt show off his money, that means a lower trim model truck or an ordinary economy vehicle. lol

christopher dyer No, you can't buy a brand new fully loaded crew cab for less than $30,000. I have a friend that works in sales for Ford. Yes, you can buy a F-150 fully loaded, not top of the model for less than $30,000, as for many other cars that are not brand new.

Jay Soucy Definitely man. I'm so glad he managed to tough it out when the fanbase was really going after him. I just hate how bipolar the fans can get, how nasty and and honestly how abusive they can get when someone's not performing up to par. Just seems like Montreal can be the most heart-bleedingly supportive or they just eat their own alive.

Awesome interview. Awesome guy. But it would have taken quite literally two clicks in any editing program to get rid of the rumbling noises in their voices. Come on CBC, I know you know how to edit sound.

My daughter is 100 pounds and plays competitive Midget B. The girls are all twice her size and maybe 3 times stronger. But, when she is in the net she makes the difference between a win and a loss. The team feels that she can make the difference.

As a leafs fan I'm incredibly insulted that you didn't say Jose Theodore among those Habs goaltending legends. The man won a Hart Trophy as the goalie in Montreal! How much more of a connection does there need to be?

Jose Theodore had a very respectable career with one truly great year in 2001-02. But he is not in the same league as Habs greats like Georges Vezina, Jacques Plante, Ken Dryden, Patrick Roy, or even Price. Not even close.

Krisb BeatS "great goaltender on a good team" It hasn't been Carey's fault for years now. Salary cap aside, you put Price on Chicago, Anaheim, I'd even venture to say Detroit, NYR, Washington, and any one of those teams would have a great chance of going all the way.
