Cargo Trailer Tiny House Conversion 

Simple build, inexpensive and PERFECT! You did an outstanding job. I could live there happily. I'd rather have this than a cheaply made crappy travel trailer.

I like the metal roofing material for the back splash. Looks nice. Good idea on the curtain for the area below the sink: easy to make, and adds no weight.

Nicely done! The only thing if I may... as a photographer I would not store electronics right over the cooking area ... steam, oil, not the best for them, I wold store my laptop and camera gear/ all other electronics under the bed. Looks great, kudos!

That's awesome. This is what would be nice for people who are homeless or just want to travel without a huge rv. I would have used a super comfy futon type couch/bed to give more room to the trailer and maybe a couple of sturdy TV trays as table/desk. But this is one of my favorite builds so far! Great job!

Nice conversion. I'm picking up a 7x14 v-nose this weekend. My plan is to use it as a toy hauler for my motorcycles.. but also as a camper with the kids. I'm planning a similar layout as yours.. except i'm planning removable bunk beds at the rear. Anyway.. nice job.

Looks awesome man....great thing about most cargo trailers in that the framing and roof are metal, exterior is metal clad, and the fold down rear door. I have own a few cargo trailers over the years for business use and they never leaked!

Yes great job, I think a 7'x12' cargo trailer is the right size with headroom of coarse. The narrower ones 5'ft and 6'ft you can't put the bed across the back which takes up more length of the trailier because you got to run it lengthwise. If my wife agrees we can get one this size maybe used or new and I have all the tools and skill to do the conversion myself. Time will tell but I won't hold my breath, hahaha!!!

Nice job! Love the use of corrugated metal panels as backsplash. You know, you can get blocking that matches the pattern of the panels to put at the bottom as a base board. The straight wood you have now is going to allow for food and dirt to get trapped in there. Should be able to get them at Home Depot. If you can't find them then trace the panel pattern on to some 1x and use a jigsaw to cut it to fit. Seal with caulking when installing.

Dude, that is awesome! I watch this video RU-vid serious about this couple who lived in a 13 ft trailer for 2 years. With no bathroom and no shower! I was so skeeved out I haven't watched them since. The girl was talking about how her hair would get matted and oily and I can only imagine the stink coming out of that RV! So gross. So now the first thing I look for in any conversion is a bathroom.
