We vlog the second day of our 7-day Cruise onboard the Caribbean Princess We arrive at Princess Cruise's private Island - Princess Cays. We do some snorkelling, walk the beach, the buffet and head back to the ship for some comedy and the Good Spirits Bar experience.

We’ve been there twice and always enjoyed ourselves. Snorkelling is good and the Princess Plus package works there for drinks.

Hi Guys. We were on the same cruise and have enjoyed the videos. Our experience was so great that we have booked another cruise on the same ship for the New England/Canada run in September. We noticed that the crew seemed a little understaffed compared to previous Princess cruises and the recent crew related cancellations highlight their issues getting sufficient crew for some of their ships. In spite of that, the crew does a fantastic job of keeping the passengers happy. We love our Princess. Keep up the good work and have fun.

I’m enjoying your Princess cruise blog. Thanks for sharing! You mentioned in todays video a prior vlog you did about Carnival, Holland and Princess private islands. Which one is that? Thanks! Looking forward to the rest of this cruise!

You can find Mr. Canucks work of FICTION about how Carnival conquered Holland America at Half Moon Cay in our VLOGs at that location onboard the Nieuw Statendam cruises at Christmas and New Years. Not a big fan of beaches. Like to walk around on the island and see what is there. My wife used to snorkel. As she got older she did it less and less. Have never been to Princesses Cays. Have seen quite a few of your blogs and will watch more. Back on the ship. Since you used Princess Plus Package, how did you like it?

We have been to Princess Cays a few times and have really enjoyed it. We really like the Princess Plus Package because it offer much more than just drinks like internet, tips and special dining options.

Hope you get one of those floaties. We need to start an Amazon affiliate store with all our gear and toys. No firm plans on a live - but I’d we get the time and internet then we might try to do one from Italy in August, around Aug.22nd. It would be nice to give an update from Europe.

Ty for the vid. Princess Cays havent change much since 2005 for what i can see. Definetly the BBQ section is still the same! Inside the ship some new things. From what i have seen, you both had a great day! And btw....no Crown Royal? There must be other good options 🙂

Ya we didn't see a lot of change in the 7 years since we were last there. Luckily there was a little more drink options to distract from the lack of Crown.

Lol I think one of you called this place Princess keys from day one video. Did you order that food while you were on princess Kay to have it in your room by the time you got there?

YA we are bad with names and pronunciations! We try so hard but are so terrible - just wait until you see us in Europe trying to say location names! No we ordered the food once we were back onboard in our cabin - it only took 15-20min to arrive! Great service!

Really enjoyed the video, looks like you had a great time on Princess Cays! Question about Good Spirits bar - did your drink package cover the cost? I've never been able to find a bar menu that lists the prices. Also, love the dress you wore to dinner Jill!

Yes. Later in the week we saw them painted away the rust spots.

It’s part of the return of service. Many of the folks returning to ships are painters and tech workers to take care of exactly this. We noticed this on Holland America too. We boarded in Seattle and by the end of the cruise - entire sections of the ship were repainted blue.

Did you bring your own floaty and snorkel equipment? Great video as always. 🏝. I don’t think I have ever been asked about Canadian healthcare by an American. I would have picked the “does it get as cold and as much snow as they say”

What did you do with your bags and how did you claim your chairs in the shade when you were in the water?

We walked up to a couple of loungers and laid there to relax. Usually one of us was with our stuff - but the odd time we’d both go into the water and stay close enough to keep an eye on our stuff.

Just throwing it out there - you guys just don’t seem as excited as in past VLOGS? You both make great videos but noticeably seem a bit less excited than the Holland trips or the earlier cruises.

Yes we were as excited - maybe just a little confused as we learning a new ship and new routine with Princess. Hopefully you will see in the upcoming videos that we had a great time and even found a few things that Princess did better than Holland America. We also did the LIVE last Sunday that provided a little more insight on what we liked and what we struggled with.
