@@markomarko660 I had a friend that drove across the county while tripping on acid; freeways and all. I have no idea how anyone can drive on acid. I was laying down on the hostel floor the first time I took it, and could barely handle the marbles rolling on the floor. Homegirl made it, and in time to pick us all up and head to a concert. Some people are wired differently, I guess 😂
the best live son EVER i went to 40 bands in 7 days (3 days of Lollapalooza and some solo concerts, everything in Buenos Aires, Argentina). Caribou was the best live show I saw
Saw these guys live ... amazing ... you wouldn't believe how much of this consists of people actually playing instruments, they generate a rave, manually!
It just seems like yesterday; 17 YO smoking a blunt, obsessed with this album as it just came out, no care in the world living life with no care of tommorow; Blink my eyes im 32 YO 3 kids and a family. Holy shit time flies, but i always come back to these masterpieces Dan has gifted to us.
2010/2011 was a very good year in music, I think. Wild Nothing, CFCF, Caribou, Bathing Culture, School of Seven Bells, Labyrinth Ear, etc. So much was good both mainstream and underground.
it's been only 7 years since i last listened to this track, but goddamn i remembered the doppler like progressions and "SUN SUN SUN SUN SUN SUN SUN SUN" just like i heard it yesterday
Damn. Isn’t this quite a coincidence? Same names same avatars, same taste in basketball and apparently, the same taste in music. On top of that, I was literally about to write a comment on how this is what I listen to when I drive.... wait was this my comment from six years ago or are you someone else? This is screwing with me.
i remember a humid june afternoon in Montreal circa 2010, roaming downtown after eating four grams of shrooms. this album was my soundtrack for the sunday adventure after Tamtams on mt. Royal.
faktablad No because I’ve got no technical or musical ability. But I feel it and I think I know what your talking about. Everything here is out of this world
This is a about a son trying to find his son on the sun while his son has a son and fathers his grandson. The son does not get found but all the sons keep looking and the sun eventually turns them all into sun
We will destroy the earth long before then. If people remember this song in 100 years they will find the lyrics hard to swallow as many of the warmer places will be uninhabitable and global temperature will be sky rocketing - according to the latest research. The sea life is already undergoing the first mass extinction in 50 million years.
2010 was right when I was getting into electronic music, I started digging Daft Punk and Justice in 08, just at their peak...It was great discovering my favorite genre
Thank GOD no one on here is saying “who’s still listening in...” on here, because if you’re here you obviously (still) are so what does it matter anyway?
-mfw realizes it's 8 minutes long. -takes about 8 minutes for sunlight to come from the sun, through space, and hit Earth. -whatever sunlight starts traveling through space when you start the song shall be the sunlight that is outside when the song ends. = 11/10, quality song about the Sun
yeeah, that can get gloomy x0 but whatever clouds may shroud over us, the sunlight remains uou hopefully it will return soon, one day. It always has in the past
I got this album on Christmas Day 2010 with my first CD player. I also remember being very chuffed having a CD with a swear on it (the Swim Remixes disk featuring a Fuck Buttons remix). I was seven years old.
