Also remember all cats are different. An old cat I had gave birth and before she did she basically led me to the nest, looking back and meowing to make sure I followed her to the box with a blanket in it we made for her. She wanted her human to be with her because she trusted me enough that she knew I could help.
My cat gave birth to 4 kittens 3 to 4 hours apart. It was such a surprise to me. I have witnessed many years ago a cat before give birth to 5 kittens and they were born about every 30 minutes. But my cat Luna 2 days ago gave birth to each kitten every 3 to 4 hours. It scared me at first because I had called a Vet thinking she was straining and was having problems. Thank goodness everything turned out alright and I didn't have to go to the Vet. I was unable to afford it.
thank you i have an outdoor stray cat that i feed in labor as i watch this. i just left her in a hooded cat bed and blanket. im goin to let nature runs its course and not intervine anymore
