This lady has some of the most Beautiful Hair I have ever seen!! I love the grey and all. The hair stylist did a wonderful job on her hair ! That stylist just trimmed her ends and didn't try to hack off all of her beautiful, thick, long grey hair!! Just Beautiful!!!
Her hair is GORGEOUS!!! Also, I love that our white/gray hairs do whatever they want to do, not unlike me! As we mature as women we tend to say I'm done pleasing others, I'm going to do me! And so does our hair! :)
I was a cosmetologist years ago who has since changed careers, but you never forget the basics. My hair is salt and pepper, which attracted me to this video. I love the knowledge you share and thank you, especially for knowing the difference between a haircut and a trim. Beautiful work!!! 🥰
She has the most beautiful hair that I've seen in a long time! I got grey's and I last died my hair 3 yrs ago. I just let them come in cuz it more a headache trying to keep hiding them. My grey hair is white and very soft! Since I left relaxers and dyes alone my natural hair is is so soft and is steady growing like crazy. My edges r all back and I just love my hair!
I had that problem when I first started greying...tried to hide it with weaves, wigs, and scarves. Grey hair obviously wants to be seen so I decided to loc it and i love it. You basically have to find a style that's comfortable for you.
❤️Beautiful, and I love your spirit as a Hair Dresser, Old School, what I also loved was the fact that you clipped and even off her hair of splits. Not when you look around the hairdresser chops off the majority of your hair. Beautiful.❤️❤️❤️
I am so so pleased to see something on salt and pepper haircare and styles, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Luv it! Beautiful result! You are always teaching and encouraging us keep it up. I am a subscriber.
We mature salt & pepper natural heads with length have been waiting on this kind of video from "ONLY YOU". The entire video was very informative and the finished look was beautiful as well as age appropriate. Please do more of these whenever you can. Thank you so much.
Until she started talking about “skin tags” clearly this woman has little to no understanding of nutrition. Skin tags are brought on by elevated glucose..diabetes, insulin resistance..
@@mobutter2879 i didn't know that. I'm starting to get more of them but I do not have any of that. Pregnant with first child and will deliver this week and don't have any of that thankfully.
I went to school with a girl that had a full head of long salt and pepper hair in the 9th grade. Some guys had it too. So salt and pepper hair isn't just on the old.
This has hot to be one of the healthiest heads of hair I have seen in my whole life. She's got to be a regular because Girl! you do know what you are doing. 💜🙏🏽🌹
I know right! I was beginning to think the only people with natural hair according to youtube are those with black, burgundy, or blonde hair! Or whatever other dye color is in style. I wouldn't take any color for my salt and pepper!
I've been natural all my life. My hair is curly, and was down to my butt. I was dying my roots, every 2 weeks. Finally, one day in June of 2017, I went to the barber shop and got my hair shaved off, so I can embrace my salt and pepper. It was so liberating. I am still salt and pepper, and have no desire to color. I am 57 years old.
I do appreciate this stylist trying to explain the difference between coarse , medium and fine hair. The truth is this density the amount of hair on a head. Is determined by how many hairs per square inch. The average healthy head contains 1000 hairs per square inch. And is roughly 120 inches in area. Coarse , Medium or Fine hair is determined by the thickness of a individual hair strand. Like threads used in sowing. Coarse hair are thicker strands. Then medium then fine. Curl is determined by the shape of the hair folical. Bone straight hair has a perfectly round comical. Generally found in people of Aisian decent. Waivy hair has a more oval shape folical and is found in multiple people groups. As far spread Eritrea to Spain. Extremely curly or tight set curl. Is generally found in people on Northern African decent all the way to the Iberian Peninsula. Grey hair that is technically white hair. Tends to be more stubborn but is not necessarily more coarse. It can be fickle or hard to deal with. But once regular healthy maintenance is established. It can be. Beautiful.
I love her hair. When I flat iron my hair it's exactly like the ladies and very frizzy 🙈 I also have grey hair, but never colored it because I love how it looks even tho other people finds its ugly its my hair not theres
She has such beautiful salt and pepper hair, and you treated it with loving care! My hair is below the waist and almost completely white. I appreciate all the good information you shared and hope it helps me better care for my long, thinning mane. 👍🏽
great job well done for everytime you always put your heart and soul into your job and you treated everyone hair the same no matter what type of hair you put love into it the lady has beautiful hair I love it again I appreciate and love watching you do an excellent job. 🌷🌷🌷❤❤💯
Crystal you are a very caring cosmetologists... you really take care of your clients hair. I live in Georgia... How do I get to you? My hair needs your care. Help me please!
Now I don't feel so bad about going grey when my hair goes in that direction. It's all about how you maintain your hair. all colors, all textures. her hair is BEAUTIFUL.
It is pretty hair but as she gets older it becomes very tiring on the arms to dress it. If she is on a pension it also can be too expensive as well. There are are some white women with this type of hair, my cousin was one red tight frizz. So she kept hers short. I love this ladies hair combed out and styled. My hair is thin and straight and I do it up most times. At nearly 80 going on 55 I persevere.. I will watch to the end as I have watched it time and time again . Kind regards to you both.xx
@@denisethompson3819 maybe she is blessed with her kids keeping their mother hair up . That’s only if she is on a fixed income because if it was my mother beauty shop would always be paid for. Not hard to maintain while it’s silk pressed. Beautiful head of hair
Oh. Em. GEEEE !! Her hair is ❤STUNNING ! I accidentally came upon this amazing video (my hair looks identical to this client's hair) and I learned SO MUCH !! 1) Never leave a deep conditioner in hair overnight (max 30 minutes) b/c it'll clog follicles; 2) blow drying hair straight does more damage than an iron, and so much more !! THANK YOU ! You're an amazing beautician !!💗
Hi Crystal, Her hair is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! ❤❤❤💯✔A+ You did a FABULOUS job on her hair.💯✔A++ Your hair is very becoming longer, too. Peace and Blessings
It's so nice seeing more and more gray hair care. I've let mine go gray, and I'm so happy to see the love. Your client's hair is so beautiful, absolutely gorgeous!
This is the most beautiful head of hair I have ever seen on You Tube and this channel. This is where I want my hair to be.. She does not need to color it anymore, its naturally beautiful.
Love her silvery/platinum hair, and I think the residual hair color on her ends only highlights the natural tones...giving a sort of natural ombre effect. Her hair is absolutely Gorgeous!😍
Beautiful, gorgeous! I would have loved to see her first reaction to seeing her hair. I kept waiting for you to give her a hand mirror. This proves people wrong who say that a woman shouldn't wear her hair long after a certain age. If you have it, flaunt it!
I've heard that also. I'm not going to cut my hair anymore and I'm 46. I trimmed it wrong during the pandemic but my stylist trimmed it correctly about one month ago. The hair is over my neck.
I had a creme rinse about 8 years ago. It washed out really quickly. I went natural about 14 years ago and and I don't dye my hair at all. Your session is a real eye opener for me.
The way you broke everything down in this video, especially the primary colors in the hair chart. Much praise! and thanks. You made it so much easier to understand.
Lovely an beautiful. Thank GOD we are getting back to our waist length hair that we had as children. I am 67 an presently growing my natural hair. Enjoyed your talk an video. Yes we need inner vitamins to help our hair an skin an nails an entire body to be an stay healthy. If I can get it in healthy foods an plants. I am more satisfied. Thanks Sugar Keep up your good work.
Hi first time looking at your channel/services. Everything was on point, loved it but was your client not wanting to show the front or full face of her head for the effect. Otherwise I will be watching 👀 again.
Your client stated that she keep a deep conditioner in her hair over night....well I personally believe her reginment is working and contributing to the healthy hair😁
Yes but it will also have some efforts in the long run. Right now she is growing hair so rapid it replaced the damages. There are most that don't grow or have issues. Crystal was making sure she give the correct solution. I've don't that and my hair suffered.
Thanks for info, I cannot wash and condition as I once did. So with age, medications and medical conditions I have loss head of hair last year. Nerve condition causes tremendous pain if someone massages my scalp therefore I must work with it myself. Thanks for video I will attempt some of the procedures you demonstrated. Thickness is good waiting to regrow length. Hair is about same texture as yours client and length is now shoulder.
How about the brownish, orange and yellow tones that will not go away? Tried practically all the removing shampoos to no avail. Notice she has some brownish or orange tones also, in her beautiful hair. I attempted to dye but made a mess and can’t find henna in white, gray or silver; so I spray which makes it hard.
Wow!! I watched you from beginning to end in the bronx. You are so talented n blessed. This is actually making me think strongly of going grey. I've been dying my hair since my 30s bcuz of the grey.
This is the most beautiful head of natural s&p I have ever seen OMG freakin goals for real I've been gone natural for about 3 years now and I have finally reached collar length I hate when you get those days when you feel your hair goes dormant well mine does anyone else!!!!
❤ I am enjoying watching you doing the natural hair. I am a Beauty Instructor and I only did press and curling. I refuse to give any relaxers. This is why I am enjoying watching you. I knew that one day that Black woman would one day understand why I only would do pressing and curling only. I would go to people homes and do their hair if they didn’t want to go to the shop, mostly seniors. I did a lot of children because I didn’t burn them. Keep up your good work.👏🏽👏🏽🤗
I enjoy watching you do a great job on the ladies hair. I'm watching you doing your client's hair right now. I know you are going to do a fabulous job on her hair. 2 thumbs up to you and continue doing a fabulous job on more clients hair.
Your an awesome hair dresser, and a excellent teacher. I love your channel. I watch you all the time. Now I'm a subscriber. I should have hit that button a long time ago. You've taught me alot. Thank You
What a transformation to her hair, it looks so much more than before. The hair dresser very pleasant and I'm sure that the lady is very happy with the outcome..
Beautiful job Crystal with useful tips most stylist would have omitted. You are selfless, genuine and give sensible answers to your audience. Thanks for being you, because you are are diminishing bred❤!
It's so refreshing and nostalgic even, to see someone's ACTUAL, hair getting "done". As opposed to someone installing a weave, smh. Her hair is healthy and was pretty before the flat iron, and is so silky and cute with curls in. Yes, this how we use to do it back in the day. Nowadays, the women just, cornrow their hair and put a silky, lace front in and curl it...
That color doesn't hinder how healthy & beautiful her hair is! Her hair is phenomenal! A nice trim w suffice! Enjoy ur gorgeous mane of hair & all its glory!
I'm a first time viewer...I don't know HOW I missed this video!!!! Being a licensed stylist, you don't see many salt and pepper wearers these days! Her hair is beautiful. I'm embracing my gray as well!! You're truly blessed. It's always a learning process!!!
