In my opinion, tape in extensions are so beautiful but sooo much responsibility for me. They are such a pain in the a$( to get to my scalp when washing in the shower! I hated trying to be extra careful to not cause any breakage at the root with these in.

The tape ins were visible at the top of her head. Seems like you had a hard time with the leave out. My opinion, if she wasn't going to maintain it or care for it, she should've just gotten a wig and viola! 😢 The finished look, it gave me Supreme vibes...😊

Amazing job. I love your attention to detail in getting the styling and finish just right. That shows such care and pride in your work. In my opinion, great hairstylists are true artists. It is an underestimated profession.

Why do people like to go against themselves. The time and expense to get this type of service only to not maintain it. If I had dandruff I would think this type of style would not be for me.

Tape in are easy and fast to do but I find them be damaging if used term because you're putting strong adhesive on to small strips of hair which is then getting pulled on daily. It's a personal choice but I try to avoid any of the extension methods that actually puts adhesive on the clients real hair, even if you're super careful it will pull some of their own hair back out.

Hey Crystal just wanted to tell you I truly enjoy using your products and I also enjoy watching you online and congratulations on your pregnancy. Truthfully Crystal I have to say that it all boils down to the client in the chair how well they're going to follow instructions number one and two, how well they're going to handle their hair in between appointments. Now I used to diy whatever hair trend was going on: box relaxers and dyes, hair attachments, you name it and I've made my messes but now I'm back to basics since the pandemic and it's now on and popping. By the way I am in my 60s. Just like the young lady if I got extensions of any sort I always went to the hairdresser every week to get my hair done so it always looked fresh and it kept my sink at home from clogging up and when I didn't have the money for that, I would get a wig for a few bucks that I can put on and take off. On wash day I made it a point to shampoo both my hair and wig the same day. Crystal, gotta say your products...are the bomb! I can cocktail your products if necessary and my hair responds well. Even when my scalp psoriasis pops up, your products put my hair and scalp back on track. My hairdresser compliments me on my hair; how it's grown to my neck within a year or so after I had her cut it real short all over to even it out. And keeping in mind your instructions, my hairdresser notices I retain my length and my hair is trimmed when I get my touch up (my hair is relaxed just enough to loosen up my curl pattern -- whenever my hair is wet it curls and/or waves up on its own. I just use your leave-in and wrap foam and let it air dry and I'm good to go). Also healthy hair needs a healthy body: water intake, fruits, veggies, vitamins, sunshine, oxygen from being outdoors, exercise to get the blood flowing. So just wanted to encourage you to keep going. I took Cosmetology in H.S. but switched to business instead. So whenever I hear your explanations I know it's based on facts. Have a good day Sis and get your rest... You did your thing again!!!

Everything is not for everybody. This client chose tape ins and evidently willing to pay for maintenance. She will lose no more hair than some of you who wear braids or other so called protective styles, or for those who brush the living daylights out of the edges for a sleek pony. How bout an improperly fitted wig that would rub away hair. She will be fine. And not to mention that her stylist know how to handle the situation without causing breakage.

I also know little about tape ins. What's the benefit of this style compared to a weave? I exercise regularly and don't think tape ins would work for me. I prefer braids because I like the feel of water on my scalp when needed and the ease to moisturize my scalp.

it was mentioned several times that she works out a lot.. which tells me something. i just think fitness should come before the vanity. if you know you work out like THAT, why get tape ins? clip ins are just fine, you can take them out before the workout and also tend to your real hair. hopefully she will make some sort of switch before its too late.

Greetings! Advise your customers to hydrate more and the dandruff will literally go away. I suffered from dandruff and my mom has psoriases and now that I control her water intake, for the first time in 80 plus years she does not have dandruff! So trust me lots of water they will not have dandruff!

Ma'am Mrs Crystal better you and the client than me. I do not have the patience to detangle my hair and the tape-ins. Lol! I also do not have the patience to be going to the salon every week/month to get my hair detangled for me by a stylist. Lol! I'm a lazy natural and I like going swimming and my scalp needs shampoo every week or it itches bad bad! However, if you and the client are happy that's all that matters. You are a true stylist because some of these new-age stylists ain't detangling or shampooing a thing!

I don't think tape-in extensions are a gool idea for curly/kinky hair. It looks very damaging.

The taping is visible at the crown on the back but overall it's okay.
