El arreglo es magistral, la interpretación en guitarra lo mismo. La voz es pulida y entonada, muy trabajada, pero sin pasión, sin sentimiento. Falta interpretación, la emoción que este tema maravilloso de Pixinguinha transmite aquí.

Though I do not personally love every one of the "adventurous" chord choices/voicings that Mr. Carvalho came up with, some are absolutely lovely to my ear. (I will be shamelessly stealing some of his ideas when I play this on piano!) And he should be lauded for finding an approach to the song that is different from every other (more prosaic?) version I have ever heard. And the combination of him and Ms. Giljanović is wonderful. And that last I-chord, the E, but with the 9th and the #11th in it is to die for. What a wonderfully unusual a gorgeous end to a great performance! (I think I heard that right.) Thank you for the beautiful music!
A música e a interpretação do violonista foram merecidamente muito elogiados. Mas gostaria de louvar também a cantora Ivana Giljanović, que soube transmitir muita emoção cantando uma letra em língua que não é sua língua materna.

Those mixtures with flamenco and south american elements, wider treatment of harmony and modulations linking Villa-Lobos, Radamés and some no guitarrist choro instrumentists like Altamiro Carrilho, Zequinha de Abreu, Ernesto Nazareth, Hermeto Paschoal, Pixinnguinha himself, Jobim- yes he also composed and played choro too. i.e, Bom demais!

Interpretazione molto originale con molto ben amalgamati riferimenti di chitarra classica e chitarra jazz. Il talento dei due artisti è enorme non solo nell'interpretazione e nell'esecuzione musicale e tecnica del brano, come ho già detto, ma per l'originalità relativa al contenuto in quanto nel duetto tra il chitarrista e la cantante traspare anche una certa ironia e diffidenza del chitarrista nei confronti della sincerità della profferta amorosa della cantante che, non a caso, appare volutamente strascicata e quindi ambigua. Pertanto l'esecuzione è magnifica nella sua completa originalità sostanziale oltre che tecnica.

Pois bem, foi o que aconteceu aqui quando toquei no play, rs... Já nos primeiros acordes, curti e já me inscrevi e vale dizer: I WANT YOU !! rs... Putz, posso estar equivocado pelo canto e encanto mas fazer um Pixinguinha e clássico imortal da música popular brasileira como é Carinhoso com arranjos e sonoridade que me arremeteram a Paco de Lucia e ao Flamenco e cantado com um sotaque estrangeiro(que não é espanhol, tenho certeza, rs...) e voz bela, pra mim, queridos, foi um momento ímpar. Gostaria de dizer que não existe dom, porém existe talento, que cm trabalho e esforço toma forma. Pra ter esse nível nessa idade, já dá pra se supor quantas horas de trabalho foram necessárias. Parabéns.
