The motor is a 2500kv, the same one in the Carisma 10th scale rally car.

I would say, perfect with that motor. Still can go 3s, but under these conditions you really don't need much more power. Maybe some diff tuning, and other servo or whatever it makes turn better... Almost feel like wanting to buy one. Really dig the looks. But also bought a weeks ago sr10 for its looks and of course tuned it. That was slow as .... too. But got it to run very decent now. Also added about 100gr. I would check the diffs, just to know. Maybe there is only some lubrication in it. You really can tune the handling with that. I, personally like rather thick front oil, so you can throw it around with your steering. Like to see more from this car when its bit better with the temps and maybe some light gravel or sand or something. But the motor looked to me perfect, and also doesn't look you need another esc....

A couple of questions here. Firstly, what is the stock tooth count on the mod 1 pinion gear? Secondly, can that stock ESC handle a 3S lipo? I know one guy on RU-vid said he ran one for a while and it got a bit warm so I’m wondering how it’ll handle the 4600kv motor you have in there on 3s. I have a spare Spektrum 3300kv motor I’m thinking if swapping out on my Subaru Carisma rally car and pairing it up with the stock ESC in this car.

All you need now is a hobbywing EZRUN MAX 10 G2 ESC 🤣 , and a better servo . If you had buy all these upgrades new after buying the car , it's works out pretty expensive in the end , because by the time you have spent all the extra money including the price of the car , you could have bought an 8th scale HoBao Hyper GT rally 4S with all the money you'll have to spend on it in the end . I don't know if you ever thought about the whole cost spend on this car is going to cost in the end , and compared the whole total cost against the likes of a HoBao Hyper GT RALLY car . IN the UK where i live , the HoBao HYPER GT RALLY is only £425 UK pounds , and the CARISMA is officially £330 , but can be bought for £289 UK pounds . The HoBao Hyper GT is an absolute beautiful bargain considering the lovely quality HoBao is renowned and famous for , especially with all their latest revisions to the their line of current cars , which including their beautiful 7075 CNC alloy shock towers , including their beautiful alloy large bore shocks , connected to their alloy chassis . The £425 UK pound price is a bargain for HoBao quality with their very good plastics HoBao is now renowned for . Look HoBao up , unless you already know or own any of the current models , Their Hyper VT-E brushless road racer and their Hyper VS2-E brushless buggy are really the pinnacle of their current line of RC car quality . 😁 😎 .

I car with a poor turning radius is not a Talley car for sure but the price is decent for the size & decent quality also I hear the wheel size is odd so only the stock wheels work on it. I’m looking at the Kyosho 1:10 version of the same model it’s also slow but a Max 10 should wake it up.
