Certainly been a inspiration. Help me through school as well going down the lake every weekend sometimes catching nothing sometimes getting a 10lb or like last weekend hooking up into my pb of 19lb hopefully, I can expand my range on more and more lakes the only thing is they all are expensive as shit at the moment. U lads make me wanna go to other places and keep on stretching to go bigger and better trying to catch my pb also with photography I haven’t filmed my sessions but I have took a range of photos while on them. Thanks a lot u bois, you’ve done a lot for the community. :)
This is so inspiring. I found y’all when I had only caught one carp. It was a 6lber now specially with your knowledge (y’all taught me how to hair rig) I’ve caught over 20 carp and have landed a 20lber ! Anywho, y’all are incredible. Thank you for this Channel to do this docu on you guys. Thank you so much Carl and Alex keep fishing tight lines brothers 🤙🏽 Oh! P.s Im soon buying a camera and starting a channel myself. If you’re ever in the New England area in the states you let me know ! Tons of places where 30 plus up to 40lbs lb carp live!!
What makes these so special is the fact that their short films are so well presented and very well edited. They are very good at what they do, the knowledge they have at such a young age is so impressive and they are such polite and respectful people. Well done !!!
Guys.. My dad passed away in May last year and before then he told me of an old carp rod he had from back in the 80's which i found and ended up using to go fishing again. I had not been fishing since late 80's however watching your vids had taught me the basics again and more and in july 2022 i captured my first carp EVER 🙈.. i have lernt so much by watching your vids.. thank you guys 🧜♂️
I'm 41, have been fishing since I was 5, and I am still inspired by you both. Fishing needs young people like you to send a message and you are both doing that perfectly. Enjoy fishing, go to places you wouldn't usually think to go, be respectful, put them back, and follow your passion. Looking forward to the next video already. 👍🏻👍🏻
The reason I watch is to see the absolute quality of the films. The old timers with 10 production crew following them around could learn something from this approach.
I love how you both talk so openly about your day to lives and the struggles you’ve faced. You’re not just 2 great fisherman but you’re 2 great people. Thank you for all your content
me and my step brother were very simular growing up everything was about fishing for us. never had youtube around then and I look back and wish we dedicated ourselves the way you guys have... deserve everything you get 👏
Carl, Alex..I've been watching the channel for a few years now and applying a lot of your tactics, sincerely thanks - had some red letter days when other people more experienced have blanked. YOU and your parents must be extremely proud....keep up the good work ;-) Big up to your Dad ...it takes balls to quit your job for your passion...
I watch everything you 2 do u dont need to thank us but we can thank you for the hours of fishing tutorials and videos that have helped me with my carp fishing a hell of a lot
Be good to see a short about all the other reasons we fish other than actually catching fish. You both kind of mention "the escape" maybe you could help @tacklingminds with a video push the mental health benifits some of us get from fishing 🎣 🤜🏻
I remember some of your first videos about 6-8 years ago... I just arrived to live in UK (10years ago) and lived next to a river wasn't driving but always had a passion for fishing so I thought I'll have a look for some local ish videos and you guys popped up with roach and chub. So I went out and tried it myself and had an amazing session and I've been watching your videos ever since... and I promise I won't stop... fishing is one of the things that don't matter how much you know, you can always learn more...
Brilliant video. I have been watching these lads for a very long time and it never gets boring. Always new ideas and fun. Never too serious but at the same time sending an important message to all générations. All the best.
Guys, youre story is fantastic, i watch all your videos and feel like i am following your journey, it is great to see two young men fulfilling their dream and i am sure you will be an inspiration to many young boys and girls who take up angling as a hobby, your video quality is of the highest standard and beautifully filmed, it feels like we are there with you. Keep it up and I hope you keep making excellent videos for years to come. BRILLIANT!!!!
Crazy respect for there's guys they are the real deal and every single film is a pleasure to watch. Keep it up and come visit Ireland so you can show me what I'm doing wrong!
Have to say gents, keep being you keep being honest about your video content and keep producing the way your going and people will keep supporting you. Tight lines and long may your success continue
Great video guys! Nice to see people Angling just out of passion. Instead of trying to sell you the latest fishing gear and on the lake just for a insta pic. Keep doing what you do lads you will inspire alot of younger people to get involved. Tight lines.......
We all love the boys they’ve got a bright future and I’m absolutely buzzing for the future off C&A I’ll be dropping likes & comments on everything 😁💪🏻💯 many thanks eastmidsbenji
Great video guys as always. First of all let me tell you that my entire family is a big fan of yours, and I have seen all of your videos even before your channel got "refurbished". The progress is undeniable regarding video quality. Thank you for all the hours of fun while watching them. Give us more fishing videos and we'll watch them all I promise! :)
The boys are back good video guys love from south Africa BIGGEST fan keep safe and keep those lines tight oneday it will b a pleasure to fly down and meet u guys
A great credit to the hobby of fishing inspirational and informative Iam always learning and have had some good catches along the way keep up the good work 👍
You said you wanted to find role models but you guys only have look at each other for that, the siblings rivalry between you two is amazing, I can see the love you both have for each other. Plus your Father was 💯% right in say the could be your career and path to fishing stardom, "I can hear you laughing at that statement" but seriously you two are great, you put your point across really well and your diction is easy to listen to, as I said in a past comment. Maybe one day you can both travel down to New Zealand and try your hand on some big brown and rainbow trout, there is no shortage of them and it would make a great series on RU-vid "Fishing NZ with Carl & Alex" good luck guys and thank you I really enjoy you videos
Awesome videos lads. This just reminds me Back when we all work our way up to big carp fishing catching small roach and perch learning all the fundamentals of fishing, watercraft etc nowadays days most want to become instant big fish anglers.
You guys are lucky to have such an equipment to film. I remember when I was young, cameras and smartphones didn’t really exist. We had to use a camera with a pellicle. On a 7day session I didn’t install it properly so all the photos we took…were not taken, haha. Anyway, can’t wait to see more about the fishing part. ;)
Cool vid. I'm a horrible carp fisherman. I enjoy your videos and have a bunch of international carp fishing friends. Which is the way the world should be.
Someone clearly grew up watching discovery Channel on a Saturday morning😁. Nudd, John Wilson, Matt Hayes.... You missed off the legendary Rex Hunt. Love the chanel lads. Defo wanna see some more Carl vs Alex.
I have watched all the big name videos, they are all scripted and stiff, whereas your videos are simple and your love for fishing shines through. Keep it going :-)
Have been watching you guys for years…… was mortified to see that I wasn’t subscribed… as I always check to see your latest videos…. And I’m pretty sure I was subscribed….. Then I realised this isn’t your channel haha.
I don’t condone my actions, but I was the same at school, hated every minute of it. I would bunk off most days and head to the River Lea and fish. The bailiff got to know me and sometimes wouldn’t charge me the 50p ticket. It was peaceful and that feeling of catching fishing was something else and that was 30 odd years ago and whilst I have a degree and worked hard I still get that excited feeling when I get to the lake!
