Indeed. I’m 44 and was doing more gay raving back in the 90s such as Trade hearing the likes of Tony De Vit R.I.P. So I didn’t experience much of the sound from Cox etc. Tbh it’s only during lockdown I have turned that around. Been non-stop clicking from one mind blowing set to another. Education is an understatement. And tonnes of other shit hot tunes and sets & plenty by not big name DJs too I should stress. For all it’s less savoury aspects, RU-vid & the net in general, it has delivered, no question during lockdown. Yet again music has been where I find my troubles can be forgotten. A saviour & lifeblood & countless others

Hmm.. golden early nineties? Are you sure? Look up some old 95 digweed or carl cox and its pretty, well terrible really. Trance took off after 1998 imo, after astral projection and dancing galaxy. Yeah it's psytrance technically but it seemed to lift the entire production of EDM upwards.

Man we need to find out ASAP where this set comes from and who mixed it. I honestly think it was delivered by Digweed, or Oakenfold, or Sasha... anyway, someone from that scene. Probably recorded in the very first Oughties (like 2000-2002), judging by the release date of the tracks included in the mix. I tried with mixesdb but I couldn't find anything.

I ve ready see them playing exactly this kind of stuff in the mid 90s. Some king of techno beats with some hyppnotic trance loop on....techno sounded like at this time😉
