Killing him off was one of the most idiotic decisions they could have done. Imagine Carl reuniting with Rick after years of being away from each other. They wasted a lot of opportunities by killing him off
They would have killed off Rick at the bridge if Carl was still alive and RJ wouldn't have existed Edit: y'all racist mother f ers won't leave me alone about RJ😂 I'm not saying I prefer him over Carl. I'm saying having a kid mix of both Rick and Michonne is freaking cool. I love how everyone replying to me is all butthurt over nothing💀💀
I'm rewatching the Walking dead for the first time in years and it's fucking criminal that they killed off Carl, he was such a beacon of hope in the show, he was Rick's main drive and was growing into such an amazing character, it actually amazes me they would kill him, without him the show never felt the same and when Rick left I lost all interest. Negan surviving was the only good thing to come out of it but it wasn't worth losing Carl for imo
Exactly!!! Imagine the og he would’ve become if they hadn’t killed him off!! 😫 he grew up in the fallout and was taught basically almost everything he knows from Rick and his character development was pretty good from spoiled little brat to someone who’s willing to do anything for his family and seeing him become one of the leaders would’ve been so fucking cool but too bad they missed that opportunity. 🥲😂
They should have used Carl as a way to unite the group with Negan. Of everyone there, he was the only one who believed in true peace. Just imagine what Carl's relationship with Negan would be like in the future after they considered letting him go free. Not to mention that with him around, the Whisperers wouldn't be any threat.
The whispers were a fucking joke. It shouldn't have taken so long to defeat them and they definitely shouldn't have lost so many people to them for sure. All the was needed to defeat them was to attack them from all sides with machine guns, kill all the lookouts and go in slowly and have like 50 truck horns going off in the other direction to throw off their walkers just kill alfa and beta with fucking guns and not stick and stones. But ofc all the communities had to have been bad terms. And seriously why tf did they stop manufacturing bullets like wtf?!?
@@emy_3012 It is. He was considering leaving for college, but ultimately decided to take a gap year due to Andrew Lincoln convincing him. He even bought a house close to the set, but since the studio didn't want to pay him the money for an adult actor, they killed him off without warning.
@@hairlinedissolver8739 Yeah, that's true, but college was not the reason for quit. The reason was, as you said, they were not willing to pay him his adult salary. After his twd time he was not in college either.
I would have loved to see Carl before as strong and as ruthless as Rick .. I have been rewatching the show and in season 3 you can see how much potential he had to be a great leader like Rick. They should have let him take over with the negan situation and made him the new leader
@@theconmantube3449 can they be read online? Or do I need to purchase all of them to get the full story? I've always heard that the comics story lines trump the shows big time!!!!
@@YEAR-1-RELICS I mean I guess that works if you are just a chandler Riggs fan. I don’t dislike him but the character of Carl is what I’m after. Having a exact character look like him but not he him would just rip me out of it
@@TEEANVEE of course they can do something different for him like grow him a T- beard and a short cut. Something that says he's a brand new character. He's allso alot older now so that speaks for itself a bit.
Instead of them putting Carl in at the end as a Easter egg I like to think of this as he's a ghost living amongst the group watching over them and we finally get to see he's still alive obviously not physically but spiritually
What happens in eggs Chickens do produce eggs on their own without needing to be pregnant, but only the females do. Similar to the dairy industry, in the breeding process, all the males are killed as babies, but for eggs, all of the male chicks are separated from the females after birth and immediately gassed to death or crushed up through a grinder while still alive. They are given no pain relief. This is known as chick culling and happens in all forms of egg production. Since the male chicks can't make eggs and also won't grow large enough to be financially viable for chicken meat due to being from an egg-laying breed, they are considered useless and killed right after birth. Chickens are still artificially inseminated in the breeding process to make new egg-layers (and more 'useless' male chicks who are killed). Egg-laying hens (female chickens of egg-laying breeds) naturally only lay about 10-15 eggs a year, in a similar way to human female periods. After severe human intervention and selective breeding, hens now lay up to around 250-300 eggs per year, which takes a neverending toll on their bodies, causes extreme calcium deficiencies and often results in them losing all their feathers, and often their body collapsing in on itself completely. These hens are suffering almost constantly due to how they've been bred and never having enough time to recover from the last eggs they've laid. Additionally, they would eat the unfertilised eggs to regain nutrition except that people steal them, which prompts them to make even more eggs. These chickens can live until 10-15, but after 2-4 years their egg production drops and they're considered spent, and killed. However since their flesh isn't as ideal for meat, they are simply disposed of and their bodies are "wasted" or in some cases turned into pet food. (The same is the case with the bodies of the male chicks). Of course there is no need to use a body of a sentient being for food, the creation of these products causes much more physical waste, and what is much more wasteful is what is being done to a conscious life that had so much more potential than it was allowed to achieve and deserved happiness. killing Carl was the dumbest decision they ever made. To this day, it makes no sense and I still don't understand. Carl had an awesome comic storyline and they just threw it all away
@@sirgodlike6236 nah, for glenn i believe we all saw that coming. its only abe death that make me shock when i first watch it i thought the big guy actually gonna survive that since in the comic he died cuz of a *fucking arrow.*
Glenn needed to die for plot reasons, Carl didn't. It was better killing Morgan you know the one character that was saying every live is precious, the one that built a cell for those that need redemption, idk maybe it's a better idea than switching 180 this characters personalities.
They shouldn’t have killed him off and jus had him leave somewhere to discover himself OR SOMETHING. Sad they wasted Carl. He could have been the new main character after Daryl or something.
Wow that was amazing when they considered to do a cameo for Carl grimes but it would have been amazing if Carl grimes could at least be alive from the tv show. It is such a devastation when Carl died.

Yeah they could bring him back in the Michonne and Rick spin off!! They should also add Daryl, Maggie, carol, and negan, and judith because their all still alive!
Could u imagine if that hadn't shown him being buried he's been alive this entire time he somehow survived the bite and been living outside the. Community and now snaked back in less recognizable
I legit think people wouldn't even be mad if they made a some-what convoluted reason to show he's still alive. like: A CMR agent was nearby and lost, found a crack in Alexandria due to the bombs, when Rick and Michone left to let Carl finish himself off the CMR agent saw Carl, Carl passed out, the shot was for killing a walker that fallowed the CMR agent. the agent saw Carl and noticed some signs that might be benefitial for their cause of experimenting(the agent might assume no community is in place, due to all the recent destruction. hence keeping Alexandria off the radar of the CMR. so no plot-hole there). the agent takes carl with him, the walker that was shot lands near were carl's body was. other walkers get into the house. Rick and Machine are outside because they can't bring themselves to see the body, when they come back, there's little to no body because all the walkers(they assume Carl was consumed, atleast for the most part, his hat was dropped when the agent took him. so his hat is left on the mess of walkers inside the burnt house). and the CMR agent managed to find the helicopter or vehicle that was rescuing them. And so, we see Carl on the Rick and Machine show over the CMR community/labs. done. Literally don't see anyone complaining. The show has made worse leaps of logic to keep characters alive, and this one is especially important to have.
@@RealCanadianGoose i might have not written it here- but the idea is that either Carl is partially immune(gets sick but doesn't die), and/or the CRM use him as whatever the "A" or "B" program is and keep him alive. (They can make it so they are trying to find a cure using bitten subjects, and they have learned enough to keep the patients from turning at a certain point.)
@@RealCanadianGoose i never said it was possible to have a cure. it's not about there being one, it's about them attempting to find one. At many times the series uses the potential at returning to some sense of "normalcy" as an element of it's narrative. Me: i don't think there should be an outright cure. _Maybe_ a generation of immune humans being born, at most, but no- i'm not wishing for a cure. But there's clearly some walker experimenting at the CRM, it's not a stretch part of the research is in regard to finding a cure or at least a developing a vaccine. I don't necessarily think Carl should live, just survive long enough to actually matter in the mayor step necessary to "beat this world". He can die, but the way he has been written to be dead rn has just been the worst decision the show has done- if he returns, it reconciles some of the major damage and it can serve to give a properly satisfying conclusion to his story and the show as a whole. I also don't want them to explain where the walkers really come from(tho, it seems they might actually go into that :/ )
@jeom experimenting still would cause him to die to infection. Him going out his own way is better however he shouldn't have been put in that situation to begin with. In the comics he's the main character of the final issue and even has a beard. They simply just killed him off to avoid paying him an adult's wage
Y’all are silly for really thinking that they took him off the show. If y’all are fans look it up instead of just continuing the same comment over and over. Fyi Chandler Riggs quit due to wanting to go to college and the writing team understood and ran with it so they had to kill him off. Chandler ended up wanting to change it while filming due to wanting to continue acting however it was too late for the writers to change it. Takes a lot of time to get to filming and with deadlines it makes it tougher to do a drastic change in such a matter of time
Oh your straight up lying. He did want to go to college so he bought a house AT THE SET to do both. Amc/Gimple told Him and his Parents they wanted him for another 3 year (meaning till at least s10). He didn't learn about being killed off until filming 806(literally when filming the bite scene), they literally fired him 2 weeks before he turn 18 which meant they would have to pay him an Adult wage but being famously cheap. This has been known since it happened but you wanna continue spreading Amcs lie and be condescending to people whi didn't fall for it.
@@enjoi9970 they come here and complain for attention, that’s all it is, they don’t get that people don’t give a shit about them not liking the show so they feel the need to constantly announce it on every video related to the show waiting for someone to acknowledge them but like I said, no one cares that they don’t like the show
Killing him off was the dumbest decision the show ever made. Imagine killing off one of your most important characters just cus you didn't want to pay him an adult salary
I know he dief that rick can live but if you dum up everything carl could lived and leaded the group in ricks absence he could be the main focus of the show until judith get shot the scenes in the hospital imagine it with carl instead of daryl. It would be so wholesome and heartbreaking and judith telling him about his father and then daryl and carl head off to find him. Daryl and Carls spinoff would have been dope.
Just imagine if Carl hadn't died during the survivors war and his head ends up on the pike instead of Henry. With Rick and michone still up in the show just imagine what could've been done with that.
