Lebhafte und wunderschöne Interpretation dieses frühromantischen und fein komponierten Meisterwerks im veränderlichen Tempo mit bezauberndem Ton der genialen Klarinette und klarem Klang des ebenso genialen Klaviers. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt melodisch. Im Kontrast klingt der dritte Satz echt lebhaft und auch beweglich. Der intime und perfekt entsprechende Dialog zwischen den beiden Virtuosen ist wahrlich beeindruckend. Einfach faszinierend!
Mentre ascoltavo, assorta, la incantevole musica di questo grande e bravissimo compositore, l' occhio mi è caduto (no, forse sarebbe meglio dire l' orecchio mi è caduto), insomma, mentre il mio animo era rapito dalla musica, la mia mente osservava una verità innegabile, ovvero che solo strumenti musicali come il clarinetto, il flauto, l' oboe, la tromba e simili, hanno la facoltà di evocare scenari celestiali, divini, mentre il pianoforte, per quanto generi una musica stupendamente fantastica e bellissima, ti lascia coi piedi ben piantati a terra. Qualcuno ha mai visto infatti un angelo suonare un pianoforte? Io adoro il clarinetto ma amo altresì il pianoforte: così posso volare in alto rimanendo, però, ben ancorata a terra. Il clarinettista, che però non ho capito chi sia, mi ha veramente conquistata, così come ho apprezzato molto l' opera del pianista che lo ha accompagnato in perfetta simbiosi. Credo di poter affermare che questo sia uno dei brani che ho apprezzato di più e che amo riascoltare sempre con piacere. Sono le 18 e 51
Weber’s idiom is so full of verve and thematic invention, I’ve always loved it :) notably this beautiful « Freischütz » moment starting at 16:30. And it’s wonderful to hear the great Francois-René Duchâble in this piece. Thanks for sharing!
It says Allegro con fuoco. And that is what you get with Meyer/Duchable. One of the best renditions I know of. I acc. this piece myself years ago with a clarinet friend of mine and this is not a work for the meek/timid pianist playing it safe! Not to mention the devilish thirds in that tempo.
