Told to me as the truth by an older musician: you couldn’t hear this song on the radio. He says due to the character of the song, it wasn’t played, at least at stations in the south for quite awhile. Shame, cause it is a great song. Carl sure was talented, he could even do the Travis 3 finger picking very well also. Singer, songwriter, the timing just got off on his big break due to a car wreck. He was set to explode big and a car wreck delayed it and the impact that would’ve had. Because I think, by then, Elvis has cut his record. And beat him out the gate with his own record, due to car wreck delays? May have that wrong.

OMG how horrible!! I saw so many performances that I had never seen before. Hadn't ever seen some of the people. All that information that was shared by others. Unbelievable. I don't understand why anyone would complain. Hopefully You Tube won't kick you off!!!
