Let's be honest, carl did an amazing job at building this level, even if it did take 27 actual updates to get it right carlToxic. Yes, yes, yes, I know it's still my turn to make something for Carl vs Juz, and that will happen as soon as I get time, and will also take place back in SMW where I can commit sinful level design and gimmicks :)

@@shaoronmd Yeah, exactly. Level was awesome though. And Carl´s girl is kinda cute. Does anyone actually know his real name yet? I mean, I know, Barb is Chris, I know, POO is David, DGR Dave, sure. I doubt that Ryukahr´s first name is actually Ryu, but who knows... WHAT´S CARL´S FIRST NAME?? I feel, he must get pissed from time to time, being referred to by the wrong name, I mean wouldn´t you? And he did mention once that Carl isn´t actually his real name!....

I remember one time Carl played a level in the SMW style with a vine you had to climb up, but when it was first loaded in an ice block came down (Carl fell for that), and right after that there's another one... so then you wait a bit, make sure the coast is clear and there are no more, and only then climb the vine... and it's at that moment that the third one falls.

The way Carl included checkpoints 3 and 4 so close together introduced a new meta for troll design. The ways he made it easy to accidentally CP1 yourself anyway fd the sun got you, forced you to jump into the CP3/4 poopchute if you softlocked with the sun, and mercilessly sent you back to CP1 when you forgot which way you were going and continued down the CP1 route instead of proceeding to CP4 advanced the new meta by multiple levels all at once. I think troll makers are going to be catching up to Carl on this one for months...

I made it to first checkpoint in this level got to the room with the thwomp repeatedly hitting on/off block and bailed after like 5 minutes of hell xD

It amazes me that while Carl can’t envision things in his mind’s eye, he can make stuff like this. I just can’t comprehend his design process, because for me, making anything, I first imagine how it will look or how it will work, and then try to replicate it, but he can’t do that! 😱

I've heard of Stunlock from PVP in World of Warcraft, where usually a Rogue would be able to stun you over and over preventing you from doing anything before you Die!

i like your slight reference to one of Carl's other level's when you said "Carl like's his troll levels to be 15-30 minuets. he's not into that whole 1 hour thing, except when he's making getting over it levels." ... you just needed to do better the level is very fun simple platforming, i can't imagine why it'd take so long. just look at the level title.

"stun locked" is absolutely a gaming thing, not a specific event thing. I remember the term as far back as 2005 in world of warcraft where rogues would stun you and keep refreshing the stun until you die.

As much as I love Carl and dont wanna be mean to him. This troll level was a really good effort ajd well put together, but comparwd to the last few troll levels shown off, it feels like it's lacking something, a clear theme of what the level's trolls focus on maybe? Either way im really excited to see Carl make more and slowly work out a style that has the same oomph as troll levels we've seen before.

Fun fact: my dad used to tell STUN LOCK all the time while I was growing up and it became a rage term for my whole family since like '98. I don't think Carl coined it in the 90s 😂. Great vid

and then...carl will make a youtube video compiling all the times people fell for trolls while gloating about how this was not as horrendous as his other level, whenever juz makes his revenge level, i hope he only gives it to carl and warns everyone else when he makes it public in a "it's your fault if you want to play this" manner instead of trying to make as much people as possible play the level (the fact that it is going to be a romhack already helps with people "stumbling upon this" on endless super expert or multiplayer versus), please make it as long as possible, carl deserves the pain

Fun fact Stun lock was first coined by Persian emperor Darius the third when he was fighting Alexander the Great, also get PWNED NOOB was also invented then.

Kind of too much stuff happening for this low number of trolls, I liked his wind troll style more, this feels like it tries to be level of some popular creator like paulo but something is missing. Nice idea of Thwomp on/off in antisoftlock though.
