In addition to air, if you just run it with some foods, it'll stick above and below the blade, but if you pulse it, it won't do that.

Yup. Here in norway it's almost impossible to get yeast. They are struggling to supply the super markets due to the time it takes to create yeast.

I tried this recipe and honestly thought I was in for disaster because a) I've never made pizza before, b) I dont have a stand mixer and c) the dough was super wet. It turned out awesome and I'll definitely make it again!!

@@Warvell1 Because: texture and ascerbic quality. I like my pizza to be savory, sweet, acidic, fatty, spicy, crunchy, soft, caramelized, melty, crispy, etc. Pizza is the "everything" food. I love a good traditional margherita as much as the next guy. But I also love an over-the-top kitchen sink situation. It hits every tastebud and sensation at the same time. It's great.

I'm hesitant to give up my family trick, but when you lay the olive oil down at the bottom of the sheet, dump a bunch of shredded parmesan cheese into the oil layer. Result- chewy burnt cheese awesomeness.

I just made this during quarantine in Italy. Loved it!!! The crust came out so light, fluffy and crispy. Even my Italian partner couldn't get enough! Thanks Carla and the bon apetite crew

She's right. But I still like green peppers on my pizza. Not all the time. Not most of the time. But some of the time. Maybe one in ten pizzas. Even though it's kinda dried out and yucky, it's still worth it. My number one veggie for a pizza is garlic, though. Soppressata is still the best meat topping, which is why it was so shocking to me that they completely ignored it as an option in the Making Perfect series.

I have plenty of yeast at all times regardless of it selling out at the grocery store. Because, I always have a yeast infection in my genitourinary tract! A shortage of yeast is something I have never known!

We made your Gramma pizza tonight. Huge success! We had been making Detroit style for the past year in a steel pan, which we thought was amazing, but the crust on this pie came out even better. We used a William Sonoma 18x13 pro baking sheet at 500 degrees for 20 minutes. We used half the garlic you specified. We skipped the anchovies and salami (but will try that next time). For cheeses we used fresh mozzarella and fresh goat cheese. We used parm and oregano. We included chopped basil in the toppings, added right after the cheese. Otherwise we followed your method. Amazing result! Thanks so much. This is our new favorite!

Its just a tiny spicy pepperoni that curls up into a little cup of grease when cooked and they're GREAT!

Don’t use green peppers. Roasted red peppers are good (especially marinated ones)

It’s the type of pizza she’s making. I wouldn’t, but different than toppings like pineapple, green pepper, raw onion, etc.
