Uma interpretação maravilhosa por este coral Grain de la voix do autor tenebrista Venosa que pode bem servir de acompanhamento musical à pintura de Caravaggio. De facto, fascinante pelo uso do baixo e dos cromatismos

i see that it is in a church but it sounds like its in a padded room used to store pillows. i think gesualdo sounds best with a lot of natural reverb. i like to hear the remanent of dissonance linger into the clean consonance that follows it; i feel like it goes well with the formlessness our modern ears hear.

Great interpretation of this very unusual music from the Renaissance. In my view the pace/tempo is too slow, but it may be simply a matter of taste.

Very nice! Better: if the major thirds above the root were narrowed slightly (to c. 386 cents) rather than singing them always as "piano thirds" (c. 400 cents), with their 7 beats per second. This is one of the aspects that made Renaissance and Baroque music distinctive, and, in a way, more beautiful than the music of today, but the singers need to have a cognizance of this before they can implement it in performance.

OMG, the voices and the interpretation are magnificent, but the director... I have rarely seen such a bad conducting technique in my life. It's unreadable, full of useless, parasite, harsh and ugly gestures. He gets away with it thanks to the professionalism of the singers.
