I am italian and a sinner supporter, but I have to admit that the talent of alcaraz is just insane, probably something never seen before. He's like the messi of the tennis or something similar. I believe that now he's still beatable because often he has drops in concentration and his serving is not that great. If he could improve and overcome these two weaknesses.. well I don't really see how anyone could beat him anymore.

tennis is a very demanding game, you are alone, bad days can happen, the day of the final maybe you are sick, like Ruud was.Nobody is unbeatable on a court.I,m spanish,I,m an Alcaraz fan, but i think in this sport you can lose any day, anytime.

All players are beatable. There is not one who has won every match but winning the majority of them is what makes you great. Also winning when you're not at your best is championship stuff.

that one handed passing shot is utterly insane

#2 was a moment of magic from Carlos, insane for a two handed player to be able to hit that. his touch is absolutely immaculate.

The way Alcaraz smiles after making an outrageous shot makes me think of Mozart as portrayed in Amadeus: God is channelled through a vessel such the the vessel often surprises himself. Except Alcaraz is a great guy, unlike Mozart.

I agree, yet he seemed overconfident it was going to be a winner bc he hesitated a moment before going forward to close the space, and against Carlitos that means losing the point

The backhand passing shot against Sinner which the commentator mentioned was even better than the passing shot against Zverev.

1st is an extremely pure choice, because Zverev decided not to hit the ball since he thought it would go out. Not a great point by Alcaraz.
