I think it's really unfortunate that Emile Griffith's biography is not being filmed by Hollywood. His life story would contribute a lot to men perhaps rethinking their toxic masculinity and that many men find themselves. I am homosexual myself and you still have to hide. I admire this self-confidence of this man in the 60s. Unfortunately, you also have to realize that there is a lot of substance abuse in the gay community today and it's not what it used to be. Emile Griffith loved himself and accepted himself. That's what made him so successful as a man. May he rest in peace.
