Indians have been no-hit TWICE this season. 4 no-hitters already this season. 1990 and 1991 both had 7 each those seasons and at this rate we might get there again.. Including when there was 2 on the same night Dave Stewart no-hit the Blue Jays and Fernando Valenzuela no-hit the Cardinals on June 29th, 1990. I saw both of those games. Nolan Ryan was the only pitcher to get one in both seasons.

This happened to me in babe Ruth. I threw a no hitter but unfortunately yanked one slider and it hit the dirt and then the underside of the batters clear as he turned. Lost a perfect game cause of a hit batter. Damn.

A number of his pitches at the end of the game clocked in near 100 mph. Most pitchers use steroids now, hence the huge number of pitchers throwing over 100. Years ago, almost nobody threw over 100. But more importantly, steroids also allow for starters to throw harder near the end of games. The steroids allow for them to recover much faster after a long game of throwing hard. At first everyone was concerned about the effect steroids would have on batters, but now the real effects are showing up in the pitchers, but they both use them so I guess it's a fair game.

Something to keep in mind about professionals. 3 or 4 times in my life I had all strikes going into tenth frame… bowling. I was weak knee shaking manual breathing dizzy call my mom feeling everyone is watching did I leave the oven on at home this is how I die nervous. Maybe got one more strike and blow it.
