I had a b18c type r (have old videos on my channel if you want to see) they both are amazing engines. I loved my b18c but now i love my k20z3. The k20 makes and feels more torqy than my b18c and it definitelly has alittle better top end pull. My b18c was in an ek which is atleast 500 pounds lighter than my So the power to weight was alot better. If this k20 was in my ek hatch it would be a rocket. This car pulls nice for what it is
Justin Phelps Yeah I've seen your b18c it was epic. Does the k20 fit the ek without any problems? Next month ill be doing a b18c swap in an ek but I might consider the k20 if it drops in as easy as the b18c.
+Alex Carrington it fits in the space but youll need hasport motor mounts and i think you have to cut the stock mounting brackets off the ek frame rail in the engine bay. Plus you need to run shifter cables to the inside so its not as easy or as cheap but with all the companys such as ktuned, hasport, hybrid racing you can find all the conversion parts to do a kswap its just more money but way worth it.
