Lived in Carlsbad off and on for about a year and a half over a decade ago. Don't know what it is about Carlsbad but a little bit of my heart stayed there. I miss it and look back on it very fondly in those faraway, nostalgic moments that haunt me from time to time...
I was born and raised there and I loved it there and that will always be my hometown and I will go their this summer who wants to hang out with me at the Carlsbad beach :)
@@maryvalencia6926 there is shoreline on the pecos river, where sand is trucked in to create a beach. Spent a summer as a lifeguard there, great times.

You say that Carlsbad is a growing community, and that it has a population of 26,000 people. 42 years ago when I left Carlsbad, it had 26,000 people as a population. How is that growing. I do love Carlsbad, it's a laid back community. I miss the radio show: "Let's Trade Even"
