When you first uploaded this, I had inadvertently searched for this song so I could learn how to play it. It was a very very dark horrible time in my life. And usually I usually associate music to memories. This version. What you created ( although a cover yes ) helped me in more ways than I could ever tell you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for keeping this up, for posting it in the first place, and for having so much passion for your craft.
Many people have been dying all around me. My family, and my friends from school. Some of my family has been diagnosed with cancer this year. I find myself increasingly frightened of death and loss. I listen to this song and it brings me at least some momentary peace. It makes me feel connected with the universe. Thanks Carly Comando.

I see myself listening to this song when I'll be around 60 or 70. I am sitting in empty house ill and weak. All my relatives passed away. I am thinking about my beautifull wife and moments we spent together. I remember her warmth and her touching. I am thinking about people I rejected because of my stubbornness. I remember my friend that I never spoke to after a fight. I am thinking about my parents that were supporting me my whole life and I was rude to them. I am wishing that I could rewind time and tell everyone how I feel but that's not going to happen. And I'm there alone, knowing my death is somewhere near waiting for me. It's just a matter of time. And I am hoping it'll overtake me soon.
Nikitoz9595 I am age 63 and not sickly and alone, why must it be you. When we aged doesn't mean we get sick, actually we are sick therefore we aged. Four years back, I wasn't in good shape but having being educated by a nutrinist I decided to change my lifestyle, eat healthily and exercise, I was able to recovered some of it and now healthier and very fit. It's not a miracle except with determination and support, everyone can do it.

im grade 3 piano i admit ive been playing 8 years but this will be one of the most rewarding songs you'll ever learn, i plan on doing just that tomorrow, life go past in a blink why not do something and be proud and glad you did
This song acually brought a tear to my eye. To play the piano to me, is a release of emotion. The person who composed this hass that stong emotion, and this piece bellows it out. This song tells a story. I never just listen to music, I think about how the piece was composed. This is a new favourite, along with the river flows in you, and Two Steps From Hell.
I been around to listen many covers from other pianist, but I still came back here. So many covers playing the same piece I get different feelings, some are angers, sadness, emotional, but your version is motivational, it gave me a strong feeling to move on. I wonder how you feel when playing this piece, when you play it sounds perfect to me. Thanks for uploading this awesome video.

Life is like a book...it has a beginning and and end...and in between there are so many different chapters and stories played out, some are sad, some are happy, some are so unbelievable you're left thinking"is this real? Am i actually here at this moment in time? Am i actually experiencing this moment?" the saying"you only live once" should be changed..."you live so much, you only die once" ... make the most of your time here...you never know when the last chapter will be played out
Dieses Video hab ich schon ungefähr 10 jahre lang, auch als mp3 auf dem Handy und ich verbinde damit schon viele Erinnerungen. ich hab dieses Video (audio) garantiert mehrere tausend male gehört!!! Ich hab in meinem gesammten Leben selten etwas so geniales und melodisches gehört. Der absolute Wahnsinn! Sehr gut gespielt! ps: Grüße an die Königin :-)
You can play advnaced song and it may be great ;) but you can play one of the easiest songs and it can be better.. all you need is a bit of creativity.. of course advanced songs are good but so are the easy ones ;) that means its not about technique at all... its about the creative value in the song :)
Yes, reminds me of a Bach Invention exercise. It's nice, though - but so are Bach's exercises. The musician needs more wrist discipline on the right hand and also is lazy with the right thumb, but that is no real criticism from me, just a friendly observation. I'd also be interested to know if the composer intended for the pronounced accents throughout or not.
