They were having a very good year with Mike Malone at head coach and then Boogie got meningitis and everything fell apart. They were really hooping that year. I still think Memphis could’ve done serious damage if they hadn’t traded Rudy for Ed Davis and Jose Calderon as well.

Correction. The moment was when he was cut from the warriors in pre-season. He had a good career. I saw his uncle at the grocery store and he was telling me about Rudy and how it wouldn't last forever. This was when he was on the Kings. It lasted pretty long after since that convo. Well done Rudy.
