After so long i still get chills watching this video. This single moment wiped away all the pain i had from the Isiah era i watched him destroy the Knicks even through all the losing MSG was always on my tv. The days where being a Knick fan made you a social outcast. I feel like they played me with so much hype and I feel like a sucker for falling for all the emotion of that "I'm Coming Home" song. All that for 1 playoff series win. Melo was talented as hell but in the end didn't hold a candle to Patrick. And not even Patrick could get that ring. Everything just seems so far out of reach.

there was a time when the Nicks looked like the best team in the leauge: Alan Houston, John Starks, Pat Ewing, Grandma Johnson, Sprewell...but they never made it out of the East - back in the days the stronger conference of the two. In particular more brutal. Think about this kids: when the season started, players were in Playoff mode when games were on schedule like: Heat vs Bulls. Nicks vs Pacers...etc. Games were so physical -also because guards weren' t quick enough to escape big men. These days Big men are leaner, quicker and more skilled but nowhere near a heavyweight fighter like back in them days. Just different - that' s all.
