@@OGMillyMillz_ dude just retired and you hating. Stockton and Malone got no rings too. Many legends dont. The fatherless energy is real in you because you showing off your mother traits who most likely was a hating ass bitch 😅 which is what you are today.
@@jm0ney289 I personally think he's more skilled than Lebron. It's just that Lebron is a better all around player and is way more dominant, but in terms of skill, Carmelo is more skilled imo
I will remember his time in Denver, NY and Portland. Basically when he was a vital piece and had highlights. As well as having the prettiest jumper in the game. Even in his later years
Carmelo is the best scorer I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t need to be the fastest guy or the most explosive player on the court, even though he was very capable of being that on any given night during his prime. Ja Morant can out run and out jump any one which makes him hard to guard but sometimes results in reckless moments. Carmelo’s game was pure fundamentals. He was always in control, rarely had to dribble and had something very few players have and that’s mental quickness. He waited for the defender to make a mistake and attacked at the right moments. A player that can master creating space, consistently hit shots out of a triple threat and be effective off the dribble is dangerous even if they’re not very fast.
@@graykairos1063 He said that about Melo in an interview about the Olympics and the relationships he had with other players on the team I'm pretty sure. He and Melo both talked about how close they became while on the Olympic team together as well. On top of that Melo was on the list of like 5 players Jordan said he wanted to play 1 on 1 in an interview. All of them were Lebron, D Wade, Melo, Durant, and Kobe if I remember correctly. It was the same interview he stated Kobe stole all his moves lol
I still can’t believe nobody picked him up. The league definitely didn’t want him to play anymore because we all can probably name about 50+ active players melo is currently better than. Shit I could name a couple times this post season where I heard and i also said “man if they had melo”. Incredible career and I’m low key sad it ends like this. We appreciate you melo a ring could never define your greatness! Thank you for the years.
@@deez8686yeah and then he did great in Portland with a far lesser role…it’s almost as if those “casuals” were right and Melo clearly had a lot left to give. Also with the lakers for the role he had he over achieved while everyone else under achieved that year. You people just talk straight out of your a$$ don’t you? Probably never seen a single game of him playing on any of these teams but follow some bs you read or saw someone else say cause you can’t think for yourself. Probably mad Melo shitted on your favorite player a few times🤣🤡🤡🤡
Congrats to Melo on a wonderful 19-year career. He is definitely one of those guys who define the word "walking bucket" because he is without question one of the most prolific scorers the NBA has ever seen. It's really a shame that he couldn't win a championship but regardless of that he is still a surefire first ballot Hall of Famer for sure.
Farewell to the first ballot Hall of Famer, Carmelo Anthony. Estrella de Puerto Rico. 19 years virtually whizzed by. Odes are already sung as we speak to your majestic NCAA sojourn. You have made an enviable career with the cards you were dealt & for that we feel nothing but pride of the greatness you've manifested all through. From the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knickerbockers to Houston Rockets to Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trailblazers & wrapping it all up in a neat bow at the Los Angeles Lakers, your career has been nothing but box office. Not a moment was ever nondescript in Melo's career & for most of it you did it all your way as a primary attacking option, paying homage to your status as the 3rd Overall pick in the storied 2003 draft. Though Detroit will forever lament the dynasty they squandered by passing over Melo, that does not in any way detract from your effervescence & monumental hunk of a career that you have enjoyed. That headband will remain a crown to us the fans as the streets will never forget your majesty, Emperor Melo.
Everyday I watched Melo’s video on my tablet and work was my routine when I was basketball player in school. He is my hero. Thank you for wonderful time!!
Be honest, he is my 2nd favorite player of ALL-TIME... I'm really proud with him..😌🫡 Thank you legend for everything 🙏 you made this game beautiful 😍 we will always remember who was real ME7O. congrats unreal career, what a special milestones 👏❤👏 well deserved RESPECT #MeloDramaForever
Still wondering how would Melo's career turn out if he joined D Wade and LeBron in Miami in 2010 instead of going to NYK, he'd probably have retired with a ring or even more. But still, congrats on a great career Melo, you are definitely one of the best scorers to ever play the game.
Thanks to the media Carmelo gets no love. I know this is hard for a lot of people to get a grasp of but... You DO understand generational wealth is more important than getting rings, right? So yea he made selfish decisions BUT guess what. His off spring will be well off.
Crazy seeing that first WCF , it seems like it was only yesterday. Watching this after we won, grateful for Melo. He was the first shift in the direction of the franchise .
Since the 2003 rookie draft, I've been watching you my idol. And I'm still inspired by your games on the court. Thank you very much for showing all these years your skills Carmelo Anthony 🤝🏀🥇
I was 9 . Fresh after a nights dinner my mom’s food had me full & tired ready to relax for the night … that night I seen Carmelo on tv during an instant replay right before commercials break & the addiction started . Thank u Carmelo for the memories
Its so great and a honor to see criticism come from individuals who have NEVER played professional basketball other than playing at LA Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness. A scoring champion vs??? Team U.S. second all time scoring leader vs??? Nba 9th all time leading scorer vs??? 10 TIME All Star vs??? Top 75 player Of All Time vs??? All NBA Team vs???. Its such an honor to see all time greats from 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness
My favorite Melo moment has to be those 2 threes against the Bulls. The energy was crazy at MSG that day. He had one of the most simple but lethal go to moves: the one dribble pullup from midrange. Also had one of the smoothest looking fadeways.
Those how love basketball, have appreciate the skills , the beauty of his jump shoot. The style of playing that every body Wants to imitate. Thank you Carmelo.
