Hey bro I used the same sole protectors on my carmines 2014 and the new 2021 with heat gun but the “2014 Carmines” the edge of the soles got really sticky do you know if maybe the sole protectors or the heat gun could’ve messed up the soles? Let me know what you think.
It’s possible that 2014 sole is slightly different. You also could’ve overheated it with the heat gun try using less heat. You really don’t need that much heat also you could use no heat.
It can yes but I’d advise you to get the custom size to cut accordingly to get the coverage you want. The carmine 6 custom cut won’t completely cover the edges.
Help I just installed the sole protectors on my 2019 infrareds I took them off today and the glue is now All over my soles what can I do to remove the glue?
I would grab some shoe cleaner mentioned in my most recent video. NuLife kicks shoe cleaner and possibly a bit of rubbing alcohol if necessary. Use with caution. Hope this helps.
If they were bigger than his normal size then yes I would size down. I normally get the custom and cut it myself. This way seems to work better for me. Id recommend that approach instead. Hope this helps.
