If singers have come to this stage, definitely they are already good, very good in fact; but the judges have a tough job of selecting the best among these budding artists and they are doing a great job in this, chiseling, polishing and fine tuning them in the process. Where else can they get such precious gems in the form of tips and advices?

Bharath Sundar is imagining things. There was not a tinge of Kamas at all. BharatSundar is repeatedly Idiosyncratic , noticed this with lots of other contestants as well eg not oscillating notes in Thodi when it did'nt hapoen in the first place. Stop imagining things Bharat.....

I concur. I also thought Sivanand did a fine job of traversing the lower octave - which, however, Bharat Sundar pointed out in a negative context - that Sivanand could avoid singing in the lower octave if he is not comfortable there. Unless we are missing out on portions edited out, he sounded just fine in lower octave, IMO. Bharat Sundar also seemed to have an edge to his voice (hopefully just my imagination) that could have been totally avoided, as he gave this particular feedback to Sivanand. My 2c FWIW.

Before Bharat sundar could point out, I too felt he was deviating from kharaharapriya and moving on to the next raagam... only to realise he meant to stay in kh priya... I felt he was too nervous today and his previous rounds were his better performances...but i like his voice very much

Before I heard Shashikiran say, strangely, I too was feeling that he did much better in the previous rounds (in spite of those being online) and I was anticipating to be blown-away in-person but since this is his first time in-person I think it might’ve made him a bit nervous and it seemed to show a bit in his voice. Also, perhaps his voice is still getting to settle down, being at that young age (and he had the pressure of his own previous high performance to top 😊). I hope all those aspects will be considered and we get to see him in the finals. Very good performance nonetheless. Surely higher than a 7 IMHO. 😅 All the best!

It's also very tricky to perform in these time-constraints. I don't blame the participants to show off their best assets. In the process, some balance is lost. Whether or not he's selected to the finals, he will go on to become a really good performer imo.

Yes of course! Musicians will have all the time they need to explore and unravel a raga and much more in their concerts! Myself and perhaps many viewers are already eager to see him and several other participants in concerts soon. There are some wonderfully gifted voices here in addition to talent! As the producers mention themselves and we all agree, this is just to be considered a learning experience in their musical journey, although it is indeed tough to get to that mindset when being a young participant.
