I’m going to be sad tomorrow…..waking up to a new cruise video every morning is great! If I can’t be actually sailing, I’m happy to live vicariously through you!
They’ll.. be another one soon. They’ve been doing 3-4 sailings a month since the restart. Dee & Jay area regular part of my day. I watch them each morning while drinking my coffee.
Thank you for the shout out from Elation. We are Beyond the Fun John's parents. Love your videos as they show more of the ships' interiors and entertainment. Downright neighborly!
Much respect to the entertainers on the Elation for continuing to find ways to perform and entertain the cruisers even with so many of them out of action. Their dedication is very impressive.
You are really good at not showing other people. If we didn’t notice the other 5 people getting off that excursion boat would have thought you were alone
The excursion to see the sharks was great. There quite a lot of them. The singers were pretty good. Like the cheeseburger socks Jay.Dinner was delicious. Dee is always pretty!
Fun times! We did that glass bottom boat excursion on our first cruise with Carnival on the Elation! The sharks and other fish would swarm the boat because they knew it was 'dinner time"! LOL Looks like we will be sailing on Elation again in September with her being redeployed back to Jacksonville! Y'all take care and keep posting your fun adventures!
That was a great video. Can’t believe how Freeport has developed the cruise terminal. When I went it was mostly wasteland. Appreciate this one. Thanks for sharing.😎
THANKS for the Elation series. We'll be sailing on her in December. Now we have some insight on the Elation. Thanks again - Carnival Magic for 8 days on Saturday.
We just returned from a cruise where there was no clothesline in the tub. I didn't know how much I would mis that. I was a nine-day cruise, so I could have used it.
After vlogging our first cruise and watching your guys content it's insane how good you guys are, we have a new found respect for y'all. Love watching your stuff! Next time you should cage dive with the shark ;)
It started as a gag whenever we had terrible sight lines at a performance, that I would just focus on objects around the room and capture the audio... I believe this was the night we were over to the side of the musicians and again, the sight lines weren't great, ha ha... :P ~Jay
I believe it's one of their newer "no sugar added" options and it was actually pretty good! It's similar to the "baked apple" from the breakfast menu, though the morning apple is served cold. This was served hot, with a key lime pie filling. Filling was good, but it was slightly weird having hot apple and cold filling, ha ha... :P ~Jay
I'm very glad you chronicle your excursions! For my taste, I'd prefer a shark visit where they turn the engines off, to see the animals in the silence of the seas. Also, the overall inside viewing area has so much framing between the glass ports, I'd like a situation where they'd have a giant 8K TV monitor on the bottom of the boat, with an underwater camera!
Seems like Carnival is keeping the Paradise and Elation around for the long term in terms of Fantasy class. They're getting rid of Ecstasy and Sensation.
Great adventure! I hear often about the seafood shack on Carnival and can't seem to find any content as to how you feel about them. Can you link me to some?
How was dinner in the MDR the last night? I don’t think you commented on it. Overall, how was the food and service on the Elation? Thanks for the videos!
Dee started with an Aqua Lung set we bought from a random snorkel site online, but now we have a Cressi set in our Amazon shop, as well as a full-face model!! :D #ad www.parodeejay.com/amazon
We usually find the pricing a bit extreme when going through the cruise line, which is why we tend to go independent. With the last minute port change and lack of time to research, we figured this one was the most fun we could have on short notice!! :P
