I’m watching your video right now. I really appreciate you taking the time to get up early and taking us (me) on your detailed tour. I’ll be enjoying my first cruise on the Carnival Firenze May 1, 2025! And you’ve just enhanced my excitement! I Even took notes to plan for my stay! Thank you & God Bless!🙏🏽
Let me just say no one could ever replace Sharon, but Jaime you are doing a darn fine job filling in. Thanks for the tour. Happy Mother's Day to Sharon.
Jamie you did an amazing job vlogging this ship tour! The Firenze looks beautiful! I would love to see Carnival do some longer Journeys cruise itineraries on this ship.
Thank you so much, Jamie, for your wonderful tour of this Beautiful ship! My husband and I are returning to Carnival celebrating our 25 year anniversary and sailing on the Firenze in a Terraza wrap around suite at the end of July. Your exceptional video coverage of this gorgeous Italian inspired ship has us Very Exited! We weren’t expecting this kind of Class! Thank you so much for your tour at the very early morning hours. We really appreciated your wise experience here, it really allows you to immerse your viewers into the elegant beauty of the ship, without distraction. Exquisite video production. Thank you again, Justin and Sheri Schmidt
Great ship tour. Just a few notes: Sea Dog and the wing place in the Market area, there are fooseball tables at two ends of the jogging path in turns at the aft, the fitness center and the Cloud 9 Spa is Deck 12 forward.
Great ship tour, thanks! Do they not have sail away parties or deck parties on the Lido? Seems like there wouldn’t be room for line dancing crowds, etc? Also, did you drive from Phoenix? I’m curious about parking at the port.
the more i see of this ship the more im deciding to book and sail - would u happen to know if they will do any sailings longer than 6 days? that just doesnt feel long enough lol
I was booked on this same cruise, but cancelled when it become no longer the inaugural. The reason I cancelled is that there are a couple of things I didn't like about Venezia that this ship also has to deal with. My main issue is that there is no bar in the casino and the closest bars close at midnight. If you wanted a drink after midnight, you had to either go into the nightclub or sit at a table/machine in the casino and wait for beverage service which was the slowest I ever experienced on a carnival ship. My other issue is that the nightclub area was too small and it was too difficult to get a drink. I liked new Italian style food and beverage offerings and like that the ship feels a little more upscale than other Carnival ships. I feel like this ship would be better suited to doing Alaska and other higher end itineraries instead of booze cruises to Mexico.
Just got off this ship yesterday! We had a great time! Food was good, Piano Bar was amazing (@gil_arquero -- killed it!!), the decor was different and beautiful! I liked everything about it except the following -- main dining was slow (the staff was great but too busy. Dinner took 2 hours)), second and most important, NEVER EVER park at the offsite parking. I parked at Carnival Offsite Parking and my car (and 3 others) were broken into!!! They do NOT have proper security to watch the cars. I lost thousands of dollars worth of items including a nice luggage, purse, car seat, and other things. It's a shame but I won't let it ruin my cruising experience. We will be back in December 2024!!
