I went on this cruise September 14, 2019! I really wish I could go back because I had so much fun and made a lot of friends there! Especially at the teen club. Watching this video brings back so many memories.😭😭😍
We went on the Magic over the 2017 4th Of July. The BBQ and pizza places are amazing! We would always hang out in the little hot tubs on the side of the ship. Was a blast!
Hey there, and welcome! The Magic is a great ship--she was the largest ever built by Fincantieri at the time. She is part of the Dream class and is very similar to Costa Diadema. The Vista class ships are also VERY nice and do I have to mention Mardi Gras? The Excel class ships are VERY nice and I know that P&O's Iona and Arvia are the same class and more accessible to you being in the UK. What is your favorite line?
Once you do a cruise....you will be hooked. I try to balance a traditional vacation with cruising vacations. But when we are at a traditional vacation for a week.....we are always thinking what would we be doing on a cruise now.....lol. Plus cruising is cheaper overall. I just booked an Alaskan cruise....other option was a week in a nice Wyndham resort in the Puerto Rico. Cruise was cheaper.

I Just came off a cruise with Carnival Magic. It started November 17, 2019 and ended the 2rd. Went to Nassau, Dominica Republic and Grand Turks. It was awesome. I wana go again. Its a vibes ship with cruiz director Leigh.
Have booked my 2nd cruise on the Magic for May, 2020 and will be my 32nd with Carnival overall. At 5 minutes in the VLog, you walk through the casino. What is not mentioned is the cigarette smoke is strong and especially when the casino is really going. The smoke is thick and while Carnival tries to have machines trying to pull the smoke out of the air, it is a feable attempt. And you have to walk through the casino to get other areas on that deck. No going around.
@@thecruiseworld I prefer Disney......its like 3 categories above Carnival.....but you can cruise on Carnival 3 times for the price of 1 Disney.....lol. I'm poor.

Exterior design of the Carnival Magic is very beautiful. Absolutely love the funnel of the Carnival ships. What destroys the beauty of this ship and all of the other Carnival ships is the interior design. Very cluttered and absolutely top of bad taste. That's the reason why we never go with Carnival. Carnival should get some inspiration from Cunard and Royal Caribbean.
I've never cruised on this ship but after viewing the video I tend to agree, the interior is lacking. I did cruise on Carnival Miracle back in 2008 and that was a beautiful ship inside. Really cool nightclubs too. I'm surprised that ship isn't more popular. Carnival does have better cabins space wise for the money from what I've seen. Bit to me the ship should be beautiful inside. Cruises aren't cheap and the atmosphere is important. Like make the cabins cuter, use tropical prints on the blankets etc. Just my opinion.
FINALLY CARNIVAL HAS A SHIP WE WENT ON IN JANUARY 2020 THE PANORAMA, AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL, NO MORE GAUDY CIRCUS CIRCUS LAS VEGAS BS ,CARNIVAL SHIPS LOOK LIKE A CHEAP CASINOS INSIDE,JUST JUNK HOPEFULLY THEY WILL KEEP THE TREND ON OTHER SHIPS LIKE THE PANORAMA.
Just went on this ship in nov., must say it wasnt a nice ship. Needs alot of maintenance and didnt have as much entertainment as some of the others. Cruise director leigh seemed nice then he says not nice things about people when he thinks noone listening. Food wasnt very good either. But to each his own i guess
