Our family three weeks ago got off the Mardi Gras ship. We had a blast. The food was wonderful. The service was tremendous. There was stuff to do everywhere. We love the carnival app. It allows you to keep on top of what is going on during your cruise. We ate at the Palm breakfast and dinner. We love our time dining. We fell in love with our waitress from the jump. She took care of all of our needs and we even had our 2-year-old grandson with us. She brought us more food for him than any two-year-old could possibly eat. We ate at ChiBang a Mexican/ Chinese food restaurant. We loved deck 8 at the aft. Guys flavor town. The pool area was great for our family. The bar area was fantastic as well. Guys burger joint, shack chicken sandwich, the pizza shop and Guys BBQ were our go to lunch options. We didn't eat at the buffet, not because we didn't like the food. For drinks, the brass magnolia, the alchemy bar, the Havana bar, and the center stage bar were our go-to places for drinks. The shows were top notch productions. Everything we saw was incredible.. our trip consisted of, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Honduras. Our room was bright and cheerful. We had a balcony room. That was wonderful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely board the Mardi gras again wherever it may take us.
Normally we cruise on Royal, but figured we'll try Mardi Gras. I'm looking forward to a good time at the end of this month, this video was very helpful. Thank you.

Took Mardi Gras in April. On Wonder of the seas as I type this. Both beautiful ships from great cruise lines. But.. oasis class ships are a league of their own. Wonders top deck is just on another level.
@@s.s.5376 thank you! I saw Mardi Gras in port when I left! Our cruise got re routed from St Thomas / St Maarten to Cozumel / Roatan because of the hurricane but the ship is amazing!
I just got off Harmony of the sea last Sunday, i enjoyed it so much I booked Wonder of the Sea while I was on board, i can’t wait to go on Wonder, I went on Mardi Gras in 2021 very nice ship I may go on her next yr again
I've never sailed on the Carnival Mardi Gras before, but I did go on the Carnival (Victory) Radiance, Carnival Sunshine, and Royal Caribbean Independence Of The Seas cruiseship. I would love to go on the Carnival Mardi Gras cruiseship.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
The rope course on board is so much fun! Out of habit, I repeated to myself, "I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me." Helps me focus and not misstep.
My brother is taking me on my very first cruise. We leave port on August 17, 2024 coming back August 24. I’ve never been on a cruise before and I’m excited I’m learning I still have to learn all that’s included in my package. he got the drink package the cheers. VIP. I’m not sure what that means. He said we can eat anywhere we want. I’m wondering if that means the special restaurants also
Guy’s burger joint is located up on deck 17 near club (ages 15-17) C02 and the Warehouse Arcade. Not on deck 16 as you stated. Sailing on this ship in Nov.2024!

I have some concerns about taking a cruise on this ship. Mostly shade related! Are there areas near the pools with seating underneath covering/in shade? and by chance did you notice where the smoking areas are...and if they are in shaded areas?
I don't know, and I don't smoke, but on the few Carnival ships I have been on, I believe those were in the shade from what I had seen. I hope this one is the same, for your sake.
Too many people, had to wait in line for everything. Multiple pools but they are all small and always full, you end up standing in the pool next to someone. It was really dark on the boat.
My husband is handicapped, didn't notice anything in the review about elevators. I saw alot of stairs. I thought the food and non alcoholic beverages were included in the price. Any help with these questions would be appreciated. Were going APRIL 2025..
I would recommend Celebrity, Virgin Voyages, or a European cruise. Carnival and Royal Caribbean (even MSC cruises) tend to cater to more of the partygoing crowd.
I would rather not go to a Cruise owned island, myself. I would rather go to an island country and sample their culture. I would like to go see somewhere I haven't been, like Aruba.
My wife Amelia and I have sailed on Mardi Gras twice this year and going back in October.. we love it!… we loved every eating venue except the chi bang.. we couldn’t figure out how Chinese people couldn’t cook decent Chinese food 😂😂😂.. it was horrible !!!
You didn't even show the SPA and Thermal Suites. Massage therapy, jacuzzi, steam rooms, hot lava rock lounge chairs... so much to offer. How could you miss all of that in your "full ship" tour?

Wife and I have enjoyed a number of cruises that all have sailed out of Los Angeles with one exception. We went with friends who booked "cheap" cruise out of New Orleans. It is something we will never do again. There were more toothless tattooed inbreds than we would ever prefer to be around. It felt like we were on a "MAGA" tour. This is not a racial issue ( I'm part Mexican and Native American. It's about intelligence and behavior.
That is definitely a racist statement. Saying you enjoyed sailing out of LA says a lot about you too. Probably had to get directions from the thousands of homeless there to get to the terminal
