So I watched this new video during my 45 minute commute home from work and OMG!!! I've been following y'all for some years now and this is (SO FAR!) the BEST vlog! I could not stop smiling on the train. That music set was amazing. Y'all getting loose and crazy was fantastic to watch. From someone that has never gone a cruise, I feel I just did!!! haha. This Cruise Liner is absolutely stunning. I have always wanted to go on a cruise like this, just never had the money to do it because they are expensive. Some cruise liners are so big that they have cinemas & casinos & also full size shopping malls that are very similar to that of the inside of the Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham City Centre, England. I absolutely love that view of the sea from the side & at the back of the ship.

I would love to go on the carnival Mardi Gras I just wish more cruise lines depart from Southampton since the uk has such good theme parks but cruising is also another of my passions and there aren’t many good ships with lots of thrilling things to do great stuff Shawn

I know this sounds strange, but I'm so excited for you, feels like I'm onboard with you! Been on a few cruises, but not for many years, always had a great time. I did find being in an interior room I felt the ship a little more, also the further down you go in the ship, the more movement you might feel. They used to have these magnetic bracelets that would help with seasickness/motion sickness that they would give you if you had trouble, don't know if Carnival does it or not. Look forward to seeing more! Ahoy

We took our first cruise last month on the Carnival Breeze. Mardi Gras was docked next to us in Cozumel and we decided that’s our next ship.

Thanks for posting these videos of the Mardi Gras. I sail with my Dad, and we were on this ship in January 2023, and we didn’t like it. After a while, I wanted to try it again, and tried convincing my Dad to go on again. He never wanted to try the ship again, until we watched your videos on your trip. Now, we are looking to book the Mardi Gras the beginning of next year. Thanks for sharing.

This was fantastic - one of the most entertaining vlogs I've seen. I haven't been on a cruise myself, but there was a time in the 2000s when I used to take the big ferries down to Brittany. Sitting there with a drink, sailing past the lighthouses... there's something magical about going onboard a big ship.

Thanks for sharing - I've been on Carnival Splendor and Legend but Mardi Gras def one of their newer ships! On Cruises sometimes you just need to either use stairs or go into a lift that opens up even if you have to ride it up then down or vice versa or you could be waiting for ages - so glad you having an awesome time.

Fantastic vlog guys just loved watching this with your adventures on board a cruise. Shawn your dance moves were “out of this world” lol. Charlotte you should buy an ice cream van when you get back home that ice cream you served looked fabulous, so much I want one🍦. Fabulous entertainment on board and the choice of bars, cafes, restaurants, theatres etc us second tho none. Great sail away party too. I’m so wanting to do a cruise like this. Nice vlog, really enjoyed, was honestly surprised you were in dance competition, looked fun and good opportunity shoutout. Thought it was someone else at first taking part, but good to see you enjoyed, hopefully will see Charlotte get opportunity to do that in future? Nice selections of entertainment, love the pools especially one with sea views through glass at the back of cruise. Looks epic, aswell love the hot tubs onboard look lovely. Would you both ever do Disney Cruise in Florida one day? As that has loads of theming onboard from what I saw from another RU-vidrs video. Including Marvel themed areas, would honestly love to see more rollercoasters built on cruise ships, maybe even in heart of ships? With less rooms space & more ride and attractions space? Be epic I think? Yes, would have less capacity, but would be different and unique. But nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more & new vlogs in future. 😀👍

I’ve never considered doing a cruise as I get sea sick really easily and I’ve always had the impression that cruising was for old people, but after seeing your day 1 vlog, I’m tempted to look into it as it looks amazing! I hope Charlotte had a good nights sleep and felt better in the morning.

For me my main interest is seeing the Islands you are doing i.e. Amber Cove, Nassau and Grand Turk. I've only done one cruise, even though far older than you two. The islands i did were, Barbados, Gaudeloupe, Dominica, St Lucia, St Kitts and St Maarten. Thanks for showing looks lovely.

That ship looks cool! I went on Freedom of the Seas, Royal Caribbean back in May. It was the second cruise I'd been on, and I had a lot of fun. My grandma and I were roommates in our balcony room. I remember I got kind of seasick the first night on my first cruise, but that feeling went away shortly. Glad you had a good start to the cruise!
