Haven't peaked the full video yet and will update with my excitement but I had to instantly click to see my favorite guys do this tour. I'm boarding the mardi gras in January and I just paid for the monkey village excursion :) I'm so excited, I am a thrillllll seeker! I love that adrenaline rush from roller coasters so this out of them all is my ship I gotta be on!! Can't wait to watch the rest of the video and update with my thoughts. Love you guys. 💚

Your reviews are so professional, so unlike a lot I see on YT. Carnival has upped their game with this ship and two more similar ships coming out. It’s nice to see something different from Carnival. We are going on this ship mid November. I was getting tired of Carnival and we have a Celebrity cruise booked for Feb but we couldn’t pass up the great deal we got.

Loved the LPG update and the many dining outside of venues. However, it seems like very many venues were not partitioned so as your eating there's a walkway where people are just walking by. Too impersonal and too loud especially if you are paying for a specialty restaurant.

I hope you guys consider the carnival Jubilee in December 2023….. I can’t wait to see that new ship. I will take my first cruise in October 2024 on the Carnival Jubilee for our 35th high school reunion. We have a group of 40+ going. If my favorite cruise guys did a tour of it I would be in heaven!!!

Great tour! Just got off the Panorama and did the Miracle in May. Mardi Gras would be the only cruise that I would consider cruising with Carnival again. Both time’s I’ve cruised with them I’ve had a sub par time and the crowds have been horrendous. For the newer ships, the facilities, service, and food are adequate but there are so many better cruise lines out there without the trashy herd. LOL

Carnival is my favorite, all the newer ships look great but since I’ve been on the newer as well as the older ships they are still just as much fun. The Breeze is my favorite so far.

We sailed her in June 2022. We loved her! She is our favorite ship yet. I’m so glad you guys are finally giving Carnival a try. Mardi Gras had so many comedy shows including PG offerings. Our 12 year old son enjoyed being able to see some comedy with us.

Just love you both and your style and sensibilities. Half my 30 cruises have been on carnival and I love them even the older fantasy class ships when Joe Farcus was designing them with Las Vegas flair and lots of neon. They are definitely Fun Ships. You spent a lot of time editing this excellent video. I will be going on my first cruise since the pandemic in one week and my last cruise was on third sailing of brand new Carnival Panorama in January 2020. Best to both of you and I’ll view more of your past videos on Wish.

I love the way you theme the background music and noise (like the pouring of drinks) to the video - very clever. I must admit to not being impressed by the ship compared to say Princess or Viking - even though you tried to make the best of it.

Great quality video! You guys are such pros with the tour videos. We sailed on that ship when it first came out..while we aren't carnival people (prefer Royal), we had an absolute blast on that ship! Such a nice ship. They did a great job with that ship. We loved the French quarter section but our favorite part was the pig and anchor bar! They had the best cover band and we had so much fun with the bartenders there every night.

@@Susankerchner125 carnival definitely tried to replicate the whole different neighborhoods on the Mardi gras. So it feels like a royal ship. You will enjoy it. The clientale is a little more rowdy/party crowd than royal but it was fine (i assume because the Mardi gras isn't cheap!). Have fun!!

I love your tours. I have only been on Holland America Line. Looks like Norwegian is too nickel and dime for anything. RCCL doesn’t have enough places to enjoy the ocean. Is Carnival a good line for food, dance classes, cooking classes, shows, dancing and balcony rooms? Or the new Celebrity line. Do they have ANY cabins with a regular balcony? Your Voice Over is perfect. And so insightful.

I just sailed this last week. I think I'm a RC fan over Carnival, but wanted to try this one. It was just ok for me. Nothing like the Oasis class RC ships. The food was meh and the shows were lame. IMO. We still had fun and made the best time of it. It's a huge ship, but IMO not much to do because it's so busy. To me the " Center Stage" is too small for the size of this ship.

I'm sure you know, but this Mardi gras ship was not the first. I sailed on the Carnival Mardi Gras in 1982 for my senior class trip. It was an older ship. It was the oldest ship and y'all would have hated the cabins. I don't know if they had any balcony cabins back then but we had a window in our room and there were four women in there and we had metal bunk beds that we slept in. But the problem I have with the carnival Cruise line today is that they refuse to give anybody credit for sailing on that ship. The reason they give us is because it wasn't computerized back then so they have no proof we were on it. But I do have proof I have pictures and I still have some of the boarding passes and stuff that we got on the ship. So there's my proof but they still won't give me credit.

Thanks for your video! We've been; a couple of months back and never again! Food selection and quality are"awful" unless you opt for specialized dining options for additional costs! However, even if you decide to pay extra for the latter, you can not secure any early sittings having to eat at late sittings. For these reasons, we decided to avoid this cruise line henceforth!

its so weird watching this because i was for building mardi gras for very short time, but in that time the boat was almost finished to the point that it was in the water and you can walk around it but it still wasnt even near finished. and one day i was bored with my boss and we walked around the ship and now i see this boat first time when its actually finished, and im like omg i walked there and there.

That's such a cool experience! It must be surreal to see the Mardi Gras cruise ship fully finished and sailing after having been a part of its construction process. Walking around the ship during its unfinished state must have given you a unique perspective. It's amazing how things come together over time. Some of the ship is spectacular! However, I HATE the fact that they have done away with tablecloths. All of the dining areas seem so bare and not special! I will stick with Royal and Celebrity. Even Norwegian still has more formal dining rooms and restaurants.

Place is amazing and it's like a floating city almost in my opinion. I am still upset with the NCL in Hawaii. Funny did get better Medical service even when I had to pay. Here in Canada worse Medical care. No wonder medical here is going under. Ambulance here did not bother to call Medical Alert or Hospital. That is the first thing you do. Anyway keep up the wonderful videos. Cheers.!

Love the video guys - it looks so professional. The video quality is so “hyper-realistic” at first I thought I was watching computer walkthroughs! I went on Iona last year so would be interested to hear comparisons of the two ships. How for example does the atrium performance space work on this ship as on Iona it was used for ad-hoc acrobatic shows which didn’t really work. And are there Promenade deck cabins on Mardi Gras as these have proved very controversial on Iona.

How was the food quality? I stopped going on Carnival because the food was really bad and much prefer Celebrity - but Mardi Gras is a complete step away from the traditional Carnival experience and am curious to try it.

Great ship great decor and the best ship reviews as always from B&D. If I hadn't just watched the NCL Prima review I would have said this was the best ship, but NCL set a new bar that just blew the competition away.
