She kept Saber around because she noticed Saber's regrets. It was out of friendship than out of romantic concerns. There ARE a lot of romantic tension still in the air between Shirou and Saber but Tohsaka casually disperses it and they seem to have an amicable friendship. You seem to forget Tohsaka is not doing this as a mere favor to Shirou. Having a Servant as a familiar without a source of mana like the Greater Grail System basically hinders the magus. Why would she sacrifice her future as a magus just so Shirou could have threesomes?

@@LeonGun8 Then why she didnt do that in the true end? Because clearly the only reason she even keep saber around is because during the game shirou is more attract to saber than usual. Also to your last statement. She willing to travel around the world with him just so she could make sure he is on a straight path so I dont see how keeping saber so shirou could be happy is somehow unreasonable.

Anyone who's played Tsukihime knows that all those girls are insane psychos (except for Hisui who is actually a very gentle girl behind her unemotional facade). In Tsukihime Shiki gets bad ends where he gets killed by Arcueid, by Ciel, by Kohaku and by Akiha. In fact, in the actual routes they spend half the time trying to kill him anyway. Then again, Shiki's hidden personality (NAnaya) is an insane assassin who can only think about murdering monsters and his first action in the game is to try and murder Arcueid.

That's always the problem with SHirou, he wants all of them to be happy so to him all of them are special. This is something that is even prevalent in the VN itself, where even though he hooks up with just one, it's very obvious that to SHirou all of them are important. Of course Shiki is nothing like that (he's just your typical angsty teenage pervert who wants to bang chicks, just with an extra side of vampires and subconcious murderer instincts).

Akiha is half-Oni and her Oni blood is extremely strong. When her emotions become unstable her Inversion Impulse activates and she becomes this crazy yandere obsessed with Shiki (and eventually her hair turns red and becomes a Crimsom Red Vermillion). This is kind of what happens to her in her route (in one of the endings of her route she becomes a permanent demon and Shikispends the rest of his life allowing her to feast on his blood to keep her alive).

They are monsters basically, in Fate-lore Shuten-Douji is said to be a demon on the same scale as the true Tamamo-no-Mae, and seeing that Tamamo is basically a goddess that should tell you in what power range we are talking here. The lore of Shuten-douji basically states that she (he in real-life but whatever) was the leader of the Onis of Japan and spent his time in life kidnapping women and massacring villages, making him as feared as the Shapeshifting nine-tailed Fox Spirit Tamamo-no-Mae (who was feared as having bewitched and tricked several emperors in China,India and Japan). Anyway SHuten-Douji is supposed to be the strongest due to being the leader of all Oni's although Ibaraki-Douji is basically just as powerful. Anyway, back on the Half-demon clans subject. The Tohno Clan are a family that made deals with the Oni in medieval times and in exchange had half-breed descendants with them. They are weaker than themdue to their humanity and even if they succumb to their demonic blood they are considered in the same manner True Ancestors consider Dead Apostles (as in, Oni don't consider them actual Oni, but just fakes).

I think the legend goes that Shuten-Douji's downfall came about because she was tricked by Raikou into drinking poisoned wine... and this only happens because Shuten just couldn't stop kidnapping and raping women. In the Fate version Shuten has the hots for Kintoki, which allows Raikou a chance to trick her into drinking the wine and beheading her. So yeah,Shuten dies because she couldn't stop having sex with anything that moved.

Non Non, you shouldn't question psycopaths. Especially not super-powered psycopaths (Arcueid is a vampire, Saber is a Heroic Spirit, Akiha is a half-oni, the maids have ESP powers, Ciel is an immortal mage-vampire, Rin is a magus, and Sakura is both a magus and connected to the Holy Grail).

Shiki Tohno has a special eye power, the mystic eyes of Death Perception. With his glasses off, he always sees lines of Death Everywhere at all times. If he cuts along those lines, he can deal wounds that can never heal to objects and people. If he stabs a person Death dot, they are permantely dead. Not even reincarnation works. If he didn't have his glasses on regularly, he's go insane from seeing Death Everywhere. Also, the more he uses his powers, the more lines he'll see on people and objects. It's actually horrifying when you think about it because unlike Shiki Ryougi from Kara no Kyoukai, he can't turn his power off.

This part was released in a special edition DVD I think after Phantasm aired, which is why not many have seen this.

There was a poll in Japan when the dating meeting between Shirou and Shiki to see what ending the fans wanted. The ending that was chosen was the harem route but this is the episode that would have aired if the "choose the main heroine" route was chosen and thus became a bonus OVA.
