Hey guys my husband and I are doing the 3 day Ensenada cruise out of Long Beach. This is our first cruise ever. It looks pretty safe in Ensenada. I was concerned cause I read different reviews and some are scary. You guys make the trip look so good! Can’t wait to go the end of this month!

Take a Carnival sponsored excursion or just stay in the touristy areas and have a great time! You'll encounter a lot of street/vendor sales people asking you to come check out their stores or show you their products on the street. If you're interested, by all means check them out. But if not, just a polite, 'No thank you' and be on your way.

Great video!!! Just wanted to say, we just finished our 3 day on the Radiance. We went to tacos lucero to eat with Anna, came to find its been super busy there since your last video. We also went to get hot chocolate and churros from the place you discovered and they had a line like Disneyland. Lol🤗 Your influence is spreading like wild fires. Thanks for the wonderful recommendations.

Really enjoy your videos! We’re from NorCal and have done the 3-4 day Baja cruises many times. We recently found a restaurant called 240 Grill, right off the Main Street in Ensenada. Omg! We can’t stop dreaming about it! SMOKED TUNA CEVICHE!!! You won’t regret it! We’re planning another 3 day cruise just to go back there! Lol

We were surprised that most locals were still wearing masks outside in Ensenada on Wednesday. Also, we quickly grew tired of the constant locals trying to sell stuff including the very small children. We were offered things things that would be considered illegal in California. I’m used to dealing with locals in the ports but this was over the top. Had a bite to eat at El Patio. This restaurant was nice. Good food.

Hi Bill and Lisa. I’ve very much enjoyed your travel vlogs! On the carnival radiance, would you know if the Catalina water taxi is wheelchair accessible? I’m traveling on the cruise in a few days, and one person in the party is wheelchair-bound. Same question goes for the buses and vans at the Ensenada port. Thank you so much!

As for the water taxi shuttle, yes, we've seen accommodate wheelchairs. As for excursion transportations, best to consult the shore excursion desk onboard for info.

We never hosted a meet up of any kind yet. I think we joked about one in the cruise ship empty lounges and inserted some cricket sounds. lol. But, if we ever do host one, we'll be sure to announce it in advance.

Most all places in Ensenada accept US Dollars, Taco Lucero included. That said, you may save a little if paying in pesos.

Can you do a comparison vlog on Carnival vs Royal and/or can you tell me based on your experience which one would you recommend?

Have a look at our recent Royal cruise videos, and all 3 parts to this Carnival cruise and see what features you like best. We're partial to Carnival because we're vested in their loyalty program. That said, we look forward to cruising with Royal one day on their Oasis class ship.

Hello! No tour, we just walked around ourselves. This 4 day cruise stops at both Catalina Island and Ensenada. Spring or Fall probably the best weather.

Bill is Tacos Lucero your favorite place to eat in Ensenada? It sounds like the best local food there is fish tacos or shrimp tacos.

We're sure there are plenty of great taco places in Ensenada. We just stumbled upon Tacos Lucero a few years ago and fell in love with the local vibe of the place. Another local rotisserie chicken place on the Main Street in downtown is also a favorite of ours (highlighted in one of our vlogs from last year).

We paid with US dollars. Most all places accept USD. That said, we usually bring along pesos which sometimes saves you a little, but didn't on this trip.
