Been on both these ships. Was on the Sunrise many times as the Triumph. My wife and I both liked this ship. We were on it as the Carnival Sunrise and it wasn't as nice. The Horizon was much nicer than the Sunrise was. Never went to seafood shack. Cherry on Top is nice. Carnival has good food. Don't eat Sushi. Don't really like bars. One or two glasses of wine and usually with a meal. Carnival has good entertainment also.
Good evening,y brother I’m really enjoying the latest video you’ve made me want a cruise now. I’m taking our first cruise just me and wifey no kids. I want to relax and have fun🤝🏾👍🏾
The Carnival Sunrise always seems crowded because they made more staterooms to have more passengers. Yet, they didn't make the ship larger. So you have almost 3,000 passengers on a cruise ship designed to hold 1, 248 passengers.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾 I’ve been on both of these ships… The SUNRISE was definitely more of a URBAN crowd (read between the lines) and the HORIZON was more diverse… I took my 3 oldest kids(28-26-24) and the SUNRISE was the way to go💯💪🏾🫡
I love both of them for what they are 😆 I know exactly what I’m going to get out of both cruises. Love that you took your kids as well. Love to see families cruise together.
The sunrise is the only cruise I could find where it offered a 4 night cruise over a weekend. I wanted something longer than a 3 night cruise. So it was really our only choice, this also includes any other cruise line too.
I know what you mean. We booked a 4 night on the Carnival Conquest and it starts on a Monday. I assumed it was a weekend sailing. I too wish they would offer more weekend sailings.
@@TravelStews From what it seems pretty much all cruise liners go for a 4 night cruise during the week and then use the same ship for a 3 night cruise over the weekend. It makes sense because usually people on a weekend cruise are just in for something shorter. Its my wife and I 10 year anniversary and she hasn't ever been on a cruise. I wanted something longer than 3 nights since we are no cruising very often and its a special occasion
I LOVE LOVE MY SUNRISE but the only thing i dont like? The comedy club is sooooooooooooo small. but other than that Im currently booked on her for two more.
That’s awesome that you sailed the Sunrise and love it so much! I feel that way about the Horizon. I can sail it back to back and wouldn’t be bored. Enjoy your upcoming sailings
Welcome to The Stew Club! OMG I am so excited for you. July is right around the corner. The Horizon is incredible and you are going to love it. Is it a 6 day or 8 day sailing?
@@sparkles6293 we did the 6 days and I wanted more! I’m sure you saw in the video there is a ton of things to do. I want sail again so I can explore more areas of the ship. Have a wonderful time!
The Sunrise was my first cruise in 2022, we went for our one year Anniversary. I fell in love, and now we are going on the Horizon in October for our 3rd Anniversary. Thanks for the review
Hello Vicky 👋🏽 if you liked the Sunrise you are going to LOVE the Horizon! October will be here before you know it. Enjoy the cruise and your Anniversary!
Yes My Son and I did a Mother/Son Cruise on the Horizon last June and we loved it!!! I did a cruise on the Sunrise the year before that and didn't really like that ship at all. Next up for us is a Family Cruise on the Celebration for 8 days.
@@TravelStews Half of the dining hall was not used. The serenity hot tubs were lukewarm and I wish the main pool wasn’t the only option. My daughter loved the kids camp but I was kind of ready to go off the ship before it was over. My other two carnival cruises were way better.
