Hello! I agree, Fahrenheit 555 is amazing! Before Covid, the cowboy steak used to be the size of the entire platter and the cheese cake (1 slice) was enough for 3 people. Although both are smaller now, they are always amazing and Fahrenheit is worth every cent!! Was on the Vista in June, and going again next week (September).

Here till the end. How did you like Port Canaveral? Our family cruised on VISTA in December 2023 and loved it. So many things to do that we didn't get to explore everything. My husband and I will be going again on VISTA in February 2025 so hoping to get to some of the things we missed the first time.

Port Canaveral is a good port to board but it’s like 45 minutes from Orlando and Disney so if it’s just a stop on an itinerary I wouldn’t be a fan. There’s a bunch of fun restaurants around the port that you can ship watch at which is cool.

I have a soft spot for the Horizon, too. Sailing on the Vista next summer - can’t wait! My cabin on the Horizon was bigger (or at least felt bigger) than the same class cabin on the Mardi Gras. The spa, too, soooo much better on Vista class than Excel class :/

Thank you for the review. Is it as hard to get a seat in the theater for the shows as it is on the Mardi Gras? When we were on the Mardi Gras earlier this year, we would have to get in line 1 to 2 hours before the shows to get a seat. There was always people who couldn't get a seat.

I'm not sure which shows you're speaking of.. the comedy shows are always hard to get a seat at! Most of the other shows were ok, though!! 🥂

Thanks for the review Pete! We will be on teh Vista next March (2025) in one of the Spa 9 balcony rooms. You mentioned teh Serenity being 18 and above but all teh Carnival ships I have been on it was 21 and above. Ships like the Freedom/Glory have an adult pool/spas as well as the Serenity. Those are 18 but the Serneity was still 21. Thanks again for all you do and Happy Cruising!

That's tough and depends on where you live. Butttt, the Horizon is slightly newer! Basically, same ship, maybe go with wherever you can find a better deal!!🥂

One of my fav places to eat, on Vista, was Ji Ji's Asian Kitchen. We had dinner there and had to take some food back to our room. SO MUCH FOOD

I stayed till the end. 😅 I have never sailed on Vista, but sailed on Panorama back in 2019. I loved that ship and that cruise. I'm currently booked on Vista for next year, with a stop in Celebration Key. I'm looking forward to that new destination. There might finally be a reason to look forward to stopping at Freeport. 😁 I'm also booked twice on sister ship Horizon before that sailing.

I just got off the Vista, the communication for boarding the ship was horrible, first three days the water slides were not working, during breakfast it was always warm, and to many dancing games you get into the music, and then they stop it. I give it 3 stars out of 5.

Carnival certainly has some great food. However I know to stay away from main dining room entrees with a red sauce. Tastes like Campbells tomatoes soup, yuck. They need to learn what powdered sugar does for frosting. What a concept. I agree the steakhouse is amazing!

Haha dumpster food, I agree sometimes the buffet is great and other times it sucks the majorly of the time except for like the salad, lol! IMAX was $18pp for new movies and $7-8 for nature movies and the thrill theater was broken on the Horizon in January. They said they weren’t fixing it, they were going to remove it during dry dock. Sounded like a great time and deal!! Of course I’m here til the end🤩 Pete and Kyle
