Yesterday, in the grocery store parking lot an 80 year old lady happily told me that she bicycled 12 miles and said she could do it because she quit all sugar, I shared that I have lost 100 lbs the same way, we cheered each other and went our separate ways.

I'm a 78 year old woman and started having those muscle cramps in my rectum when I was 22 years old, after the delivery of my daughter. I started carnivore on 1/30/24 and I've had only one occurrence of this pain. Hopefully they are gone! as you said though they are unpredictable when it will happen, I'm praying they are history.

Kip, that’s what ALL the cardiologists that treated me (I had two stents put in, check earlier videos from Dave), all of them said it was genetics!!! I don’t drink, I never smoked, no one in my family ever had heart disease. Genetics my foot!!

Hubby had similar story to you Kip I took him to hospital due to similar pain you had just to be sure but found out he had to stay and had double heart bypass April 2020 just at the start of the pandemic. Become carnivore March 2024 and doing well. Yes it’s been a very long recovery. He became vegan for 6 months after leaving hospital, that wasn’t sustainable. I regularly check the Woolworths vegan meat just before they close at night as they usually put the price down, really thought I was doing the right thing for my husband. Nope! Thank God hubby complained and so we had to stop that. Thanks for sharing your story.

My mom had bypass surgery twice first time they split open the chest and the second they went through the ribs. She said the 2nd through the ribs was way worse than the first one. Modern medicine kept her alive but quality of life was not great. I wish we had known how to improve her life back then.

Listening to Kip is literally déjà vu for me…it’s like I’m listening to my husband who underwent quadruple bypass surgery in January of this year. The scenario is literally exactly the same, except for that. My husband was 60, but all the other details leading up to his bypass surgery are identical! We praise Jesus for his mercy in protecting my husband from a heart attack and preserving his life and our family. By the grace of God, we came upon the carnivore diet at the end of March, through research in an effort to get my husband off of the statins statins that he was told by his cardiologist, interventional, cardiologist, and cardiac surgeon that he would be on for life without negotiation or any other option. My husband is now thriving and doing amazing, all praise and glory to God Almighty alone! I wish my husband could meet Kip because they sound like brothers… and twins at that, lol! ❤❤ P.S. Kip, you are a gifted storyteller, and Dave, you are the most gracious host in interviewer out there! God bless you both!🙏🏻🙏🏻

On the subject of fasting. When I first started Carnivore, I used to wait until my wife got home and eat with her. This was sometimes difficult because I was hungry during the day. One day, I decided to eat when I was hungry (around 2:00 PM), and when my wife got home I wasn't hungry. When I woke up in the morning, I still wasn't hungry......but I had already done a 16-hour fast, without even trying. It just comes together.

Thank you for these informative heart-felt testimonials. As a 64 year old “fit” woman, who also was overweight, and followed high carb SAD diet. Well, my symptoms were arm pain radiating both arms but only when walking. immediately after stopping the walk, no pain. Went 3 months, with pain. Lost some weight. Got a stress test. Had to be in cath lab. 99% blocked in widowmaker - stunted. No heart attack. But, they had me on high blood pressure meds - I never had high blood pressure, except white coat. Well, a half hour after stent procedure, recovering, I almost died. Heart rate 9 . Husband said I was grey like a sidewalk color. Heart never stopped, as they gave me something in my leg. Since then, eight years later, I have lost more weight, BMI 21, eat keto-vore. Feel awesome, and will never go back! Would like to find out if my plaque is going down or not. Working on finding a correct test for that, since I already had plaque.

I really understand the awful feeling of trying to persuade loved ones before it's too late. My wonderful dad died almost 2 years ago at the age of 54 from cancer (exacerbated by something pointy and toxic I won't mention) - I pleaded with him to fast and change his diet but he just couldn't wrap his head around it. It was so opposite to everything he'd ever been taught. It might have been too late anyway, but I wish I could have got him to try.

SO POWERFUL 😊 Kip, the world needs men like you that love their wives and their families and their family members to share and spread the news far and wide about your story and the carnivore diet. You are a perfect example of someone who looks great on the outside, but the inside was a ticking time bomb. My parents were married 69 years and I was fortunate enough that they fed us real food and protein and fat served at every meal. My parents live to 94 years of age each married 69 years. You remind me, I have my dad as you are such a wonderful man all he did was talk about how great my mom was. I hope you start your own channel so more lives can be saved. 🥩

Every interview is the best. I do not know how Kip went from ignoring classic heart attack pain to somehow realizing the urgency of getting to the Cath lab without delay. I was a lot like you Kip; athletic; consuming too many carbs; and thinking I was getting away with it because I was not fat. Thank you for sharing your story. For the women out there (!)... women do not have the classic pain warning them of an imminent heart attack. Women have pains that are much more subtle and easier to dismiss. All the more reason for a Coronary Artery Calcium scan if your lifestyle may be putting you at risk; which because of the dietary guidelines, is about everybody.

This is one of the best of so many amazing interviews. I rarely comment but I feel compelled to share my solution for proctalgia. When it first began about 20 years ago, I found that sitting in a tub of hot water helped. Since then, I purchased a plastic bowl that can be filled with hot water and placed over the toilet. Sitting in that for about 5 minutes relieves the pain. I think the term for this therapy is sitz bath. Since I’ve cut carbs, I have them less often for sure. But just thought I’d share in case anyone could be helped by it.

39:41 This is an interesting observation (not boasting in the least Kip!) about your gym performance and in comparison to the younger members. It's interesting to me that the hardcore gym environment has historically been filled with men and women who, on the advice of their personal trainer, eat X, drink Y etc. They follow them religiously - and yet if YOU said to them, give up all the protein powders and shakes and instead just eat beef, eggs, butter, water, salt and your results will skyrocket without likely killing you later, they'd look at you like you were nuts! But that's how they used to eat in the early days of body building!! And Arnie's still kicking! Great, heartfelt story, Kip - so happy for you and your wife (don't you make her cry again!!) and family. Bless. ❤

The only way I get through it is to know that it will pass. It always eases up, thankfully. I can't believe you had to have all those tests. It's easily diagnosed. I have to say though that sitting on the toilet for a while does help me. (In case anyone out there has this medical condition.)

Thank you for the interview. I am noticing that the majority of the people interviewed are believers. I think that might be because we are taught to trust God and not man. Every believer understands that people are sinful and often evil, so we don't put our trust in what human authority says. Hence we are more able to be critical and open minded to ideas that are counter to the narrative. God bless.

Great interview. Just want to mention I also have proctalgia fugax 🤦🏻‍♀️…self diagnosed many years ago 😆 Probably also in my late 30’s, now 57. I rarely have episodes these days of low carb/meat based. I wanted to let Kip, or anyone else who has these episodes, know to sit on a heating pad or in a very warm bath. Sitting in a bath at 2 am is inconvenient😂😂. I keep a heating pad in my nightstand. I hardly ever get them now. But, it’s the ONLY thing that helps. I told my doctor about that remedy and she appreciated it because she also has it. It’s basically a Charley horse up the rear and yes, it can bring you to your knees. You just don’t know what to do with yourself. You think you’ll take pain meds but it diminishes in about 20-40 min. But I’m telling you, the heating pad helps soooo much! Blessing to y’all! PS- this is the first time I’ve heard anyone mention having Proctalgia Fugax in the keto/carnivore world.

She even mentioned my blood sugar was a little high (no longer diabetic but I see my blood sugars are higher than I think they should be with what I am eating) but if I was fasting it would be lower (I was fasting, but I didn't say that because I figured we could talk when the results came back). I need to educate her.

Man, I could have listened to that guy for another two hours, easy. Such honest, authentic passion, and just telling things as they are. Best guest you've had. I wish you hadn't ended it so abruptly! Joe Rogan goes for 3+ hours. No reason you can't with some of the livelier guests!

Such an enjoyable interview with Kip, inspirational. Going down the rabbit hole for myself has been eye opening and listening to his journey was wonderful. 68 years old one year in, off all my meds but one for prostate issues. At my teenage weight. My why was depression which has improved greatly. I can relate to Kip with wanting people who are close just to try, but nope they say they can't do it. I live with a person who I love who is a diabetic and still eats the SAD way. So consequently I slip, but this is becoming less and less. I am not perfect I have not given up all my additions. I look forward to another year I know I will have even more benefits. Slipping now and then I am okay with with how I look and feel no way will I stop not putting 80lbs back. A year ago getting out of the shower was awful as the mirror was there and my gut hanging out looking 8 months pregnant no way again.

Love this interview! Everyone’s story is different- yet so many similarities in positive effects of carnivore.

The human mind is wired to believe the first information that we hear. If we learn something about a topic one day and especially if it is reinforced everyday, with similar information, and then one day one person comes up and tells us that what we have known to be true for decades is not only not true but the exact opposite is true, we just can't believe it. Especially if we go back to our trusted con artist expert every week and that person reinforces our original beliefs then it becomes an impossible task. If a person learns how the human mind works then he/she is going to be better able to reason with himself. I imagine that if someone has medical problems that it would be very scary to do the opposite of what doctors tell you just because a friend tells you to. The best way to convince people is to show them your own results and let them slowly absorb it

I enjoy occasional treats like this gentleman, but I always make my own treats. Most people, even in the low carb space, don’t know that just about any box cake, brownie, or cookie mix can be made keto (ish) by simply replacing the recommended vegetable oil for the mix with real butter. Still not great to indulge in regularly, but man it tastes so much better with the butter. I wish I knew this little tweak a long time ago. ✌️

For sure everything is better with butter! Unfortunately, people are still crazily being lied to about the health of poison vegetable oils! 😢😢

It would be interesting for Kip to have a new angiogram in about another 5 years to see if that 100% blockage has opened up.
