Congratulations, Rebecca!!! We don't have roosters either, although we hope to next year. Right now I am trying to break a broody hen, because she's not eating or drinking all day. Can't wait to see how many eggs you get!
How wonderful! Yeah - the way he pulled the chicken out backwards 😮 I really thought there was going to be some broken wings! But - look what a great home they have now! Congratulations! Xxx
well done rebecca hens make great pets. Pls note they are very curious and they can squeeze through tiny gaps. They are supposed to be ground dwelling but they will jump up anything. Try to gmake sure they get in the coop at night all thee predators find them very easy targets. But good luck with them. Spoil them a bit keep them safe it is amazing how long they will keep laying eggs it is amazing. I call eggs natures ready made meal
Yes they're really lovely pets ❤I was very much missing the 6 I had on the mountain that I had to re-home. I'm pretty sure Mr Fox will get them, but at least in the meantime they'll have a happy life foraging!
Would love to have chickens for the eggs. We’re not allowed to have them in our suburban area. Gorgeous little creatures. Thx for sharing, Rebecca. 🐓 🥚
Yes, I'm sure you're right... two of my dogs are fine with them, it's the newly adopted dog I'm worried about - and he's the one who hates being in the enclosure and would jump 😐
Oooh I sure hope those ladies warm up to you! It's much more fun having chickens when they're friendly towards people 😅 Congrats on the first egg too haha!
Yes they're lovely when they trust you 🥰 when they crouch down and you can pick them up ❤used to think that was so cute... until I learned that they actually crouch down for a cockerel to mount them 😂😂
Enjoy the coop, I have 7 chickens same breed as yours, they are lovely! I enjoy going to feed them, they come to me and allow me to cuddle them. El pienso para ponedoras is not ecological, I believe it is a mixture of grains and some added compounds like refined vegetable oils…
@@cabanachronicles I use mostly grain, and sometimes I use the "pienso para ponedoras" as they lay more eggs. Nowadays I'm considering growing "tenebrios", sort of worms thar grow on flower and it provides good protein and fat for the chickens
Hi there, Did you experience any imcreased symptoms when you first started the diet? I was inspired to start carnivore and had 12 miraculous days where i felt like a normal person. Then I had an attach again and now feel like absolute shit. I have become depressed because it was the final piece of a puzzle ive been trying to put together for 9 months since first attack. I thought i was finally home free. But no... i am so sad and destroyed and no longer know what to do. I went from a very clean vegan diet with raw fruits and veggies, introduced meat, felt instantly better, cut out veggies, felt even better, was completely healed for 12 days and then went straight down the sitter again. Please help. I hope you have some encouraging words because ive been thinking a lot about you and your story which inspired me so deeply 🙏❤️ we have so many many things in common in terms of our life story, unfortunately I dare say, because they arent very enjoyable things to have in common. I am currently curled up in a fatigue spell watching this video ❤️ ps. It was a year ago today that i build my own chicked coop aftet rasing chickens all winter long. Then it hit me. And i had to give them up. I loved having them. I hope you can give them a good life.
Hi, I'm really sorry you've been struggling ❤Maybe it's your body adjusting from one very different way of eating to another? I had an adjustment period of a few weeks where I felt a bit weird. Have you been fasting and watching your electrolytes? I really hope your fatigue spell passes. Really nice to know my story has inspired you, hoping so much that you start to see improvements. Sending huge hugs, wishing you strength and health ❤❤❤
@@cabanachronicles Sorry my bad. Roots so deep is a regenerative agriculture RU-vid channel that is interesting to watch. I know many content creators are busy and often may not have time to watch much but if you do these guys are very interesting. Their link is youtube.com/@carboncowboys?si=NDReSS-0H-9WA3UT Sorry once again for the cryptic nature of my first message and my rather long winded explanation now. Thank you for your content. I hope you continue to heal with your carnivore journey.
I find it sad that the poultry population of the world is dominated by commercial hybrid layers. I keep Faverolles and Dorkings in Australia. There are so many wonderful breeds but no idea what is available in your area. Might be worth asking around.
