I'm so impressed with Prophet man, stand your ground. Carol was cold af, uncarring, and overstepping. Comparing what she did to Karen & David, to Rick defending himself from Shane was insane.

I don't think she would have killed Rick, Carl or any of the original group. She just was not as attached to Karen and David.

I think Carol made a mistake by making a decision on her own thinking about others, but Rick did the same now, he decided for a whole group, for the good of others. So, in the end, you can understand the point of both.

This was a pretty good slow episode slow is important sometimes A lot happened because we got to know a little more about Bob and his addiction we got to see Daryl opening up more and accepting that Rick and Co are his family now and We got the chance to discuss The Carol and Rick dilemma as for this slow episode itself really enjoyed it I loved the character development and everything about it.

Rick took Carol on this run to sus out her state of mind after killing Karen & David. She had no remorse and she was pretty much arrogant while explaining why she did it. He was giving her chance after chance to walk back the things she was saying and she didn't. I think what did it for him was her interactions with those 2 new people. She purposely told them to help scavange the area knowing that they would be killed. Go back to Rick's facial expressions when she over talks him and undermines his authority when he tells them to stay put. Also she was cold as hell when they found that girl's body. Rick took note of it. Carol's problematic behavior had to be stopped and he also believes that Tyreese would kill her when he tells him the truth. His solution was to send her away and I don't blame him for it.

If it wasn’t for Tyrese being around, Rick most likely would’ve just let her stay. I mean, Tyrese almost beat the shit out of Rick for the killings and Rick didn’t even do anything wrong 😂 so imagine what Tyrese would’ve done to the person who did it?

Just to speak on the extremity of Carol’s actions: At this point I think Carol killing Karen and David is a direct result of her feeling guilt about not being more pro active to keep Sophia safe coupled with her promise to keep Mika and Lizzie safe I think she did her best with Sophia but she hardened after having so much hope only to have been wrong the entire time She watched other people (Daryl (Rick) being almost self-sacrificial for the group And she witnessed Shane do some unthinkable things to keep the group safe and especially to keep his family alive All those things plus Ed formed her into a weird if not misguided amalgamation of ultimate protector.

Carol was DEAD wrong for what she did, but now Rick is going to have to deal with Daryl. On the other hand, Rick kicking her out was the best thing he did for her and everyone. You'll see. *evil laugh*

Great episode The acting between Melissa McBride and Andrew Lincoln was just amazing If you can tell everything Rick is thinking based on his facial expressions then you know he’s an incredible actor I don’t think he’d planned on sending her off immediately but the trip was to gain insight on her motives so he could make the decision Unfortunately for her her coldness towards the couple he was trying to recruit and her showing how capable she was is what helped him make his decision I do not agree with him thinking she’d hurt Carl or lil ass kicker though when she did what she did to help protect them Sure she was wrong but I’m still team Carol on this Rick shouldn’t make this decision alone there’s a council for that.

That's because she didn't care about the people she killed. That's evil. It was a mistake. Rick's decision was as moderate as possible

Of it makes sense why she did it, but she should not have. If they needed up turning, which shit they probably would’ve, then Tyresse could’ve handled it so much better. But she killed them in cold blood and burned them. A hard call for Rick but I stand by him in it.

Prophet is correct. Medically speaking, the people Karen & David came into contact with were already exposed. The damage was done by the time Carol entered that cell. Killing Karen & David, who were already in quarantine where no one else would be exposed by them specifically, did absolutely nothing besides ensure that they’d die. I have watched this series repeatedly over the years, seriously. Since I was 11. At first I was angry that Rick sent her away. But… that was me allowing my emotion to take over. Which is what Carol did here. Now I realize that Carol was weak. She pissed me off for several years. The ONLY reason she killed Karen & David is because she was scared, because she knew she didn’t have control over the situation. But so was everyone else, and you didn’t see any of them ready to murder two sick, innocent people. They accepted the hand that they had been dealt, and they kept fighting to do what they could to help. Control what they could. Like taking a 50 mile trip to get medical supplies. I’m excited for Aj to watch the rest of the series. I realize now that his intentions are true, but then again so were Carol’s… This show, if you allow it, will tilt your world off its axis over the years! It truly can teach you a lot about life IF you pay close attention. Keep going, guys!! 🤘🏻

I have no problem with what carol did

After all these years I'm still confused why Carol killed those two people. Did she just kill them because they were sick? because there are other people that are sick and they are still alive she didn't kill them so why did she just choose to kill these two people? Who made her judge, jury, and executioner?
