Sequel: Carol Marin moved to the CBS station in Chicago. Not long after this, CBS ran the first season of Survivor, covering the whole thing as if it were an actual news story. The season finale got almost the entire 10 PM newscast that night - and Carol Marin was front and center for the whole half-hour. Sequel II: Jerry Springer never did join the NBC newscast.
The entire Democrat party are election deniers along with a great majority of their followers. Hillary Clinton said her election was stolen due to Russian interference in 2016 and advised Joe Biden’s team not to concede under any circumstances if he lost in 2020. She did this on national television. She then wrote a book about being robbed of the election called ‘What Happened.’ Stacey Abrams said her election was stolen and refused to concede the results. Her case for election corruption was dismissed in Federal court in 2022. Democrats formally objected to elections in 2001, 2005 and 2017 even after their candidates had conceded. The United States is not a Democracy, it’s a Constitutional Republic which protects the rights of the individual from the will of the majority. Quite unlike a true democracy where majority rule dictates governance of the minority. Look up Ben Franklin for the first quote on this topic to Elizabeth Powel after he left the chambers of the Constitutional Convention.
Jerry Springer was multifaceted throughout his career as a broadcast journalist, actor, producer, politician and civil rights advocate. One of his efforts was the 26th Ammendment reducing the voting age from 21 to 18. When 18 year olds had enough common sense. Can you at least give him that?! Thank you!🇺🇸🇬🇧
I don’t necessarily blame Jerry for causing Carol to quit. The management at the station during this time wanted to bring up the ratings, so they hired Jerry. I agree that his talk show overshadowed his journalism work, even though his Final Thoughts were insightful. I still stand with Carol. I blame management rather than Jerry.
