He’s out 1 2 3 4 why not the letters just learn how to play the instrument actually as if you learn this you’ll never understand theory correctly and then you aren’t really a musicisnn
I grew up in Ukraine, In the late 80x and being 90x on every New Year's Eve we went to other homes(same as Halloween kids going from door to door) and sang "Carroll of the Bells". We call it Schedryk. I was really surprised that this song is popular in North America. The sweetest memories from a happy childhood are connected to this melody. Thank you for that❣️ Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦💓
This tune (koliadka) is of very old time and its second breath it has found being re-arranged, as we know it now by some as Carol of the Bell, by the Ukrainian composer Mykolay Leontovych.
I don't know if I misunderstood you, but in my knowledge the original song, Shchedryk, was written by Leontovych in 1916. He made it and re-arranged it a bit later when he moved out of Ukraine, translating the original lyrics. And Koliadka is a type of songs that are sung by Slavic people on Christmas, but "Carol of the bells" or as in the original "Shchedryk" is not one of them. It is sung on "Old" New Years, the holiday that falls onto the 13th of January, the singing is called Shchedruvanya (it's really difficult to translate that word, sorry. I tried) It means "wishing people all the best" but in a more... How can I say it... Friendly-official way? That is why the original song is about a bird flying into a man's home and complimenting him and saying that his life is going to be really good. Sorry for these paragraphs and my English, not my first language :b
Yes! I learned it a few days ago because im Ukrainian, and this song called "Schedryk" is the most popular here. Schedryk is the only original version of carol of the bells

Welll, I’m assuming since u spent three years learning it you know a much more impressive version (maybe with cords on the left hand) and you know the full song. I’m sure if someone played this version you could absolutely amaze them lol

Just to inform, this song Is in G major, and the original song that Is calles Carol of the bells if you want to hear it, Is in Bb so instead of playing "3, 2, 3, 1" (G, F, G, E) You should play B, A, B, G and D, C, D B, obviously with B and E b
@@fdr2bk93 Lol, I'm Ukrainian, I can sing this song completely, play the piano, and you're a foreigner, and you don't understand. Mykola Leontovych wrote this song.
Hey thanks for the video remember the reason for the season is Jesus. Remember to keep reading your Bible(or a free app/video) and keep praying! Have a great day! Hebrews 9:28 (KJV) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
He prefaced the video by asking the viewer if they want to impress some family not if they want to learn how to play piano. This is more of a fun Christmas party trick than learning to play an instrument…
That was an easy song to learn. I played in practice the song for five minutes and I got it without messing up nice tutorial at 10 minutes. I did it without messing up and I wasn’t looking at my keys very easy song. Thank you for the tutorial.
