Being a drum line instructor I love the dramatic symbolism of the Union and Confederate drummer "boys". Very dramatic. And her voice is so powerful.. This brought goose bumps
MAMMA MIA!!!!! I HAVE GOOSE BUMPS ALL OVER ME. THIS IS TRULY A BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE WITH NO MISTAKES BY CAROLA. BRAVA, BRAVA, BRAVA. I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH AND I ONLY HEARED IT BY ELVIS. INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL VOICE......WOW!! MANY THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WITH OTHERS.
@Jeff's house in flat rock alabama - Nice rendition Jeff! Here is my rendition of, "Portrait of my Love", a Matt Monro and Steve Lawrence classic. I just got my voice back after a very serious upper respiratory and sinus infection and retrained each note of my voice which I lost completely. I am almost 68 years old............ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qlAGccKTMqk.html
Great job. And I'm an Elvis fan. It's great to see a Swedish (!) singer really getting and caring about this song (representative and empathetic to all three sides of the most tragic part of American history) and it was breathtaking with the drummers in the American Civil War uniforms. She was able to connect to the song. Elvis' version is still the most epic and grandest (you just can't beat the epic trumpets blaring power shot and the proud American Eagle jumpsuit), but this does it justice!
