as an angler when I go to a public park I try to keep in mind that i don't own the park, and I expect people to walk in walking paths. Lighten up man. smoke a joint.
With all the boaters and paddle boaters it was just like a "realistic fishing " moment! Keep it up Hood, maybe if you ever this way in bay St. Louis I'll get to fish with you. 👍🏼
It's city park... Don't treat it like it's lake front where you have the space to fish. People are running on the jogging course. People pay to ride those boats strictly only available in that pond. You're standing and throwing where they are suppose to be. Be more considerate.
I just dreamed up this same rig combo and then did a YT search when I found your video. At first I was killing em with this combo but its gone cold now. I wanted to see if anyone else had done this and how they retrieved it. Interesting to me to see how soft your pull is. I have been pulling much harder to try to get it to jerk a lot. Hey my dad lives in New Orleans and we LOVE bass fishing in City Park, You should try redfishing in Bay St.Louis, Mississippi or in Waveland, Mississippi there is also good black drum there. You need to use a (preferably white depending on conditions) Bomber Spoon for the reds
