The police could of helped her and save her life, at least they could of walked her/take take her where she could of call her family. What happen to ‘“protect and serve ‘’ we have it clear they are not a taxi service but seeing the woman was intoxicated - a little help could of saved her.

I am so suprised these women are willing to walk at night alone. Very dangerous situation to put yourself in. Cops should have helped the young girl.

Jessica was amazing. Even her clear thinking to have a cigarette with her attacker and thereby enable his DNA to be collected, was just so incredible. Feel so sad for Caroline. The cctv footage where she realised she’s being stalked and trying to run away…she must have been so scared. And she was so close to help several times, and yet no one was able to help her, - the police who had her in the car and the couple who heard her screaming. Feel sad for her children.

The police should have given her a ride ! This could have been prevented if they did. They are to be here for the people. It was late , she was drinking and they should have had enough common sense and duty to take her home. Really how much of an inconvenience on them would it have been. You go to the police for help. Thinking you can trust them . Obviously not in this case. So sad.

They should be disciplined for this. They are the police. A very poor judgement on them both ! Considering the time of night and they knew she was drinking. She was as vulnerable. Very poor police care. No wonder there are so many murders and crimes. U need to care , not just for a pay cheque but for the people u r to protect !

Disgraceful police officers. It’s fair enough they can’t be a taxi service and drive people home but they could have given her a lift to the taxi rank where she would have been safe and still alive today. Even if no money, she could have called someone and been around people in a well lit area. I hope those police officers feel ashamed.

It's a reality. When you reach a certain age and is aware if cases like these one should be more cautious. Evil will always be around. Be wise. This late night partying and not having a responsible means to get home is really careless especially when one knows they're prone to be inhibited by alcohol. 🙏

Amazing how many people trying to say "could have" or "should have" write "could (or should) of" . . . You can train the text editor in RU-vid to memorize "could've" and "should've". Learn to spell and think. "Could of" is meaningless
